Well actually he just said that it's not his choice, and that he's really frustrated about this decision. Wouldn't be surprised if it was true tho. His label has done a lot for him (promo, tour, album) and now, they're probably using him a bit.. they're so desperate to make him a superstar in France that they would do anything.

He's probably as annoyed as you are. He didn't even mentioned he was doing that NRJ concert, he just said he was really upset that he couldn't go to Amsterdam for reasons independent of his own will.
