here people https://www.facebook.com/EurovisionCoverage/posts/10156205786066305Can you please give us a link to where you have read this (this should be something everyone should do on the forum, cause people wants to know what sources people use...)? Maybe you have written here about it in the past, but since I had a stomachflu these latest days I am like out of bounds with the ESC-world.
I googled it, but found absolutely nothing. No one in France talked about it.
Bilal said he's making an important announcement at 18 CET
Fench ambassador in Israel say it's a fake news and we have the reponse of France TV here:
https://www.programme-tv.net/news/evenement/destination-eurovision-2019/226390-eurovision-2019-la-france-sur-le-point-de-boycotter-le-concours-en-israel-france-televisions-repond/
A spokesperson for France Televisions has expressed himself so that there is no "false controversy". "The whole of the French delegation is at work alongside Bilal Hassani, in view of the final scheduled for May in Tel Aviv, we are told.We are in regular contact with the European Union of Radio- Television that exchanges with all the countries participating in Eurovision, including the KAN channel. In the context of these discussions between channels, the project of fiction 12 points - which we learned the existence last week is mentioned ", he concludes, thereby removing any threat of boycotts.
At least the Israeli TV producer Adar Shafran is convinced that the ESC will be held in Israel:
https://www.screendaily.com/news/ma...set-comedy-thriller-exclusive/5131259.article
"The Israeli TV producer Adar Shafran plans a comedy-thriller miniseries called "Douze Points".
The storyline revolves around an extremist plot to assassinate the president by infiltrating a French boyband in the Eurovision Song Contest and a group of Mossad agents who have been coached in the art of make-up and dancing to guard over the event in the guise of hairdressers, choreographers and stylists."
“We have to move fast,” says Shafran, who produces under the banner of Firma Films. “We need all three episodes to be ready to air around the time of the contest, which means we need start shooting by December at the latest.”
I can't imagine that the EBU finds this hilarious.
Hey guys, haven't been much in this thread lately so don't hate on me :-) But what are the dislikes that Bilal is getting are all about? I like the song but in every ranking thread I read he's in the bottom. What have I missed?
I agree with the bad live vocals in the NF but people posted here other videos of him singing in TV shows and he actually can sing, so let's hope that with work he'll improve it and his live performance in ESC will be good !His studio version - at least for me - was in the beginning okay (but not exciting), but his live version was terrible. :? He can't sing at all and I generally disliked his performance. But there are many people who also love this song. So it's between hate and love, I guess!
