MLS season just got under way (that's the league playing in the US and Canada). Toronto FC (my hometown side) is off to a 2-0 start thanks to some big acquisitions during the off-season

OFK Beograd 0:2 Partizan

An effective play and a certain victory, with which I am really happy and satisfied. We didn't play the best that we can and we had problems to establish our pass play in the beginning of the match, but we managed to do it in the later stages of the match. As soon as we started controlling the position, we began to dominate in the match, we created and missed several good chances, but we didn't lose our head, so patience payed off. We were more defensive than I personally like after the second goal, but the most important thing is that we won and took another 3 points, and that after that tie against Novi Pazar, we started playing really well. It could have been nicer to watch, but there are no reasons not to be satisfied either. We played smart and it payed off. I am also very satisfied with the fact that OFK Beograd didn't have any chance to score at all during the match.

Next rival is Vojvodina. Even though the team from Novi Sad is weaker than in the last half-season, the matches against them are always tough so we must prepare really well in order to take all 3 points there as well. They now have many great young players from their youth school in the team that replaced the older players who were the key players of their old team, and they will certainly be more than motivated against us in this match. So, a respect to Vojvodina, but our goal is clear - victory.

The relegation battle is gonna be insane
and fortunately I can enjoy it since Werder Bremen now has a little cushion of points to place 16
Will be exciting and much fun for outside supporters... hopefully Hamburg will go down to 2.Bundesliga :D

Stuttgart and Hamburg will find a way out of their misery.

I'm predicting Nürnberg and Hannover to go down and Braunschweig to miraculously grab place #16 (and then hopefully knock out Paderborn in the relegation H2H) - nothing against Paderborn, but their stadium must be the ugliest one I've ever seen.

Erzgebirgsstadion is such a beauty! In the middle of the forrest, with a motorway at the back ... so good.

I think, you confund the two stadiums ;-) "Erzgebirgsstadion" is the stadium of Erzgebirge (or Wismut) Aue, who also play in League 2.
But you´re right :-) We had a cup-match there two years ago (lost 0-3 -.-) and the stadium is really, really beautiful (old-school...)

I knew it was Erzgebirge! Just didn't explain myself. Such a lovely stadium. What do you think of Villa Park? I go there to watch Aston Villa - My team

One of the most beautiful stadiums in England imo.
Would be great to see my club, Eintracht Frankfurt, playing there in Europa League one day (if SGE + Aston Villa qualify of course ;-) )
But I don´t like the fact, that there are no standing places in England´s stadium. The atmosphere would be better with them imo.

The stadium doesn't look very special, but I don't know what's next to it. The stadium in Freiburg looks the same, but it's beautiful to sit inside and looking to the Black Forest.

But I like your club since I managed them on Football Manager :D

In my opinion the location of a stadium is pretty important...
The Weserstadion here in Bremen is located next to the river, so one can take a relaxing and pleasant walk along the river on a sunny day. And you see the stadium is getting closer, you are in a good mood, everything is alight.
Many stadiums in Germany are located next to a highway or in unappealing districts or whatever... The stadium of Hamburger SV is near the garbage incinerator, how can you get positive mood after passing an incinerator?

Last year I was in London and I was amazed when I saw the Stamford Bridge standing amidst a normal residential area... I like this very much, it has the effect that the club is kind of tangible even for normal workers and the club is part of the society. It seems that nobody in England needs a car to reach the stadium of its favourite club, because every small district there has a big club with tradition. Yes, I love the football culture in England. :D
