God I hope Käärijä does a European tour even though he didn't win. I want to see him live pretty bad, but I guess not enough to cross 2 borders for it.

I was rooting for both Sweden and Finland, maybe a little bit more for Finland. It would've been nice to have a "rare" host country. Second place is great, tho. Their NF this year was one of the best and imo it's only a matter of time before they win Eurovision. I think it's going to happen in this decade.

I have to say though, Käärjäs stans are the most annoying fandom I've ever seen and in a way I'm glad he lost just because of how annoying his fans are. I'm too old for this Kpop stan culture. I also felt a bit bad for the other artists when the crowd started to chant his name and CCC. I get it's a competition but still, everyone has worked very hard.

Btw. Cha Cha Cha was played Dallas Stars home arena American Airlines Center during match between Dallas Stars and Las Vegas Golden Knights in May of 15th.

Naaah, the worst and more toxic, annoying and noisier fans were Chanel's fans last year, and Manga fans in 2010, I can assure you... And they are still obsessed their favourites did not win.

All the footage from the green "room" show that most artists stood close to Käärijä all the time and even tuned in chanting Cha Cha Cha with the crowd. Everybody congratulated him or cuddled him or comforted him while nobody did that to Loreen. On her way to the stage she passed various delegations but no one ever bothered to look at her.

That is exactly what I mean. The Swedish team including their ESC supervisor always build such a hype around Sweden that finally not only the public but now also the artists are pissed. This has to end! Some delegations already complained, it’s time for artists to speak up.

i don’t want another ESC win in Sweden in my lifetime. I want every other country before I die and I am too old to see that happening.

My over 60 years old mom is furious that Finland lost. I didnt know she is a Eurofan again after so many years. Just told me about it

Salena is an angel. Quite telling that she and noone else surrounding Käärijä didn’t applaud for Loreen at this moment. I think Sweden lost a lot of credit and the rising prices and high costs of living don’t make Sweden an attraktive host country. I would guess withdrawals from poorer countries are incomlng.

The real winner of ESC'23 xclap

But as I mentioned in this thread, I knew the juries would block it from winning... it almost feels like they "forced themselves" to put it into the top. 5 as they knew how popular it was... but still this is just sad, while Sweden had a good song with a brilliant singer, this had a personality which can't really be said about the Swedish entry tbh.

God how much I love you for being honest and normal. Always. 🥰 Can we give you an honorary "First Swede of the Eurovision 2023"?

Despite how butthurt Finns are right now on social media, Käärijä should have won. The song is a banger, the show was jaw-dropping and Finland proved to themself that they have value in the contest. After many unsuccessful attempts in the past that aren't metal made the Finns are confident they can have great results again with entries that genuinely represent the Finnish people. Much better than winning the jury vote with 900+ points.
