Really surprised how good songs are this year... I even made a ranking:

Anyone from my top 6 would be great! But Mikko is by far my number one.

I think it will be a battle between "safe and traditional" (Dennis, Clarissa) and "brave" choices (Jasmin, Mikko). I hope the brave voters will win this time.

Second that! And since Finland seem to have gone "safe" every second year since 2008 (2009, 2011, 2013) and "brave" the other second years (2008, 2010, 2012) ... I hope it's time for yet another "brave" year.

I love how Dennis Fagerstrom has 5 writers behind his song and it's a piece of crap, yet Mikko Pohjola wrote his song singlehandedly and it's brilliant

And with that act of bravery will be a non-qualifying year for them. (just consulting their qualification pattern)

So annoyed I missed the show, I wanted to watch it so I could do a proper ranking. Alas, I was out helping with wedding plans and doing my college work. I'll go through and listen to them on here and give a full rank later on.

There's a poll going on in wiwibloggs for the first semi-final.
Jasmin Michaela is leading with 39%, followed by Softengine with 16% and Dennis Fagerstrom with 13%. MIAU is last with 7%.

There has not been any live shows yet, the one that was shown today on Finnish TV was recorded weeks ago and has only demo versions of the songs (and that show has been online for a week anyway). The first live show will be next Saturday.
