Wikipedia has now confirmed four of the participating entries (it's still not clear if this will be a competition or more of a concert.)

I don't know what entry UK will go for, we've had five winning entries, but they are all very dated now.

Edit: The BBC webpage lists some other confirmed performers:

I am still confused about the date.
Why before the 60th edition?

I'ts being filmed at the end of March and shown later on, its not live.

Maybe I'll have to go on to the wikipedia page and add some more confirmed artists. I'm thinking Joy Fleming, Remedios Amaya, Peter, Sue & Marc and Domenico Modugno.

The bottom 3 shouldn't be on the wikipedia page because the BBC haven't confirmed them.

It also says Herreys (Sweden 1984) and Natasha St-Pier (France 2001).

My guessing is that the most likely for us would be Katrina & the Waves, Gina G and Bucks Fizz.

It doesn't say. Which is surprising considering they take part in almost every form of eurovsion.

I wonder how the seating's going to go. Im guessing it will be first come first served, apparently people from the likes of Bosnia wouldnt get a chance to go because they wont be able to get a visa in time.

Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Turkey, Moldova & Israel you need a visa. A long with Bosnia as well. I don't expect there to all too many from those countries anyway considering the short notice.

I hope it's not all Brits tho otherwise it wont feel like a proper Eurovision thing

That's what I'm thinking, will the Brits monopolize it? and it turns into something like The proms with the occasional Norweigan & Dutch flag in the audience.

I guess we might get a few Eurofreaks from the West

I expect a healthy showing from the Irish, French, Belgian and Dutch. It's fairly easy to get here quickly from those countries.
