From an article from Belgium, it seems the show will indeed be hosted by Petra Mede and Graham Norton, and be shot on the 31st of March. I really hope it can be a great celebration of the Contest, in all its glory, past and present. In France and Belgium, we often have pictures from only the old songs in the Contest, you would think that we still have the same shows as we had in the Sixties.

A true dream team! xyes

I've also come across this article:
Petra Mede leder Guldbaggegalan igen | SVT.se
It's mainly about the Swedish film awards, but from what I understand (well, from what I could google translate ) it also says that Petra will host the ESC anniversary show. I guess the official webpage of SVT wouldn't include any false infos or rumours...

But its a show for 60 years of Eurovision,
so it should be AFTER 60th Eurovision, right ?

I also agree with GRE

During march, ESC-fans are usually busy listening and rating the ESC-entries, so with that much ESC-related around, a "Congratulations-show" in March wouldn´t be as exciting for me as such a show during September/October, when (except BT ESCUNITED :-) ) nothing ESC-related is around.

I do agree as well, but don't take that date for gospel.

If it was March, we would have heard most of the details by now.

Although there have been a few rumours that the BBC have denied this news... I can now confirm....

I have spoken with the BBC this morning and I was told that it will happen, but no details are confirmed. I asked whether it would be a similar show to Congratulations or a somewhat documentary, but they are still finalising the details so not even that is confirmed yet.
i will find out soon though :))))

I did write an article last night but I was waiting for the BBC confirmation, but I was beaten to posting the article lol

I am hoping that if we do it well, it'll give us a point boost.

I'm guessing it'll be more in the documentay style. Wouldn't it be a little late to start organizing a show now?

Is that on wiwibloggs page the actual logo of the event? So cringey. I don't think this will be anything special to be honest.
