Ballon d'or please for Lewandowski this year... he is at the moment the best striker of the world, no doubt. Scoring many goals in a team like Bayern might be not that difficult (although 5 goals in 9 minutes is incredible in every team) but he also scored 11 goals for Poland in this Qualifying campaign. Well, I guess the election will be between Messi and Ronaldo like always... even if both are 40 years old and play in the Major Soccer league they will probably be main contenders for the Ballon d'or award

Enough with that, back to topic!

Qualifiers for Euro 2016 so far: :fr: :en: :cz: :is: :at: Northern Ireland :pt: = 7/24

Tomorrow (or tonight) Spain will qualify if they beat Luxemburg. Even if they draw they will qualify as long as Ukraine doesnt beat Macedonia. However I don't think we have to calculate things like "What happens if Spain gets only a draw against Luxemburg"
Spain's probability of qualifying tonight: 99%

Since Slovakia won the head-to-head against Ukraine they are also qualified if they manage to beat Belarus. If they draw they're still qualified as long as Ukraine doesn't win. If they lose they are qualified as long as Ukraine loses as well.
Slovakias probability of qualifying tonight: 85%

Switzerland will beat San Marino for sure and if Slovenia doesn't defeat Lithuania they are qualified. However I don't see Slovenia struggling in the home match against the side of Lithuania.

Switzerlands probability of qualifying tonight: 25%

Russia is qualified if they beat Moldova and Sweden doesn't beat Liechtenstein. A draw is enough if Sweden lose to Liechtenstein. Both possibilities are not realistic even though Sweden has been very pathetic recently

Russias probability of qualifying tonight: 10%

In conclusion I predict that :es: and :sk: will be the 8th and 9th team that can prepare for France next year :D The other teams I mentioned probably have to wait a few days or even longer

Did you just imply that I'm rude? Then how would you describe this post of yours:

I watched the game, and I think that Scotland didn't deserve the win, most of the time you were playing sloppily. On the other hand, the Poland team also didn't give their best (apart from Lewandowski), especially Błaszczykowski disappointed me the most. The draw seems more or less fair to me.

My post was in jest referring to my belief that the only way we wouldn't lose was if they were drunk. Turns out I was wrong, and we played very well, scoring 2 amazing goals.

Whereas your post was the prime example of a bad winner (who didn't even win). You obviously must have some kind of issue with Scotland to make a post like that.

I'm annoyed that our head to head records against our closest competitors were very good. We got 4 from Ireland and 2 from Poland, but as usual our inability to take points from the top team and bottom team (not including Gibraltar) is what cost us.

I'm still optimistic about our World Cup group, we should be able to get second, but the fact that of Scotland being the only home nation not at the Euros is sickening. It's bad now, but will be worse when the tournament is on. I guess I'll be supporting Germany and Northern Ireland.

Because writing the word "Scotland" and the waving xwave smiley really shows how much I hate Scotland  Also, by writing "Scotland" I meant the Scotland National Football Team ;)

Qualified teams so far: :fr: :en: :cz: :is: :at: ::ulst :pt: :es: :ch: -> 9/24 xheat

Today there are the matches from Group A, B & H

:be: will qualify by defeating Andorra. Probability: 99%

:it: is qualified if they beat Azerbaijan or they draw against them while Croatia doesn't beat Bulgaria. Probability: 90%

:wale: need at least a draw against Bosnia to qualify. Won't be easy but their defense is so solid and Bosnia had better times... Probability: 65%

 need a win against Malta and gotta hope that Croatia doesn't beat Bulgaria. Probability: 25%

If :tr: wins against the already qualified Czechs and Netherlands doesn't win against Kazakhstan they are qualified as well. They only even need a draw if Netherlands loses against Kazakhstan xcrazy
Netherlands should be still good enough to beat Kazakhstan, so probability of this scenario is: 10%

I think today :be: and :it: will qualify. Not absolutely sure about :wale:

I wondered how long it would take you to post in here just to laugh at Scotland. As a Unionist I would have thought you would have wanted all Home Nations to qualify? Seems somewhat hypocritical to me.

You wanted them to qualify, but now that they haven't you seem to be enjoying it. Doesn't really make sense to me. I'm guessing you wouldn't be finding it funny if it was any of the other home nations missing out.

You shouldn't get so worked up about it  It's merely funny because I can just imagine the cybernats taking the news, no doubt they think there's been some desperate conspiracy against the Scottish team lol

Literally no one is saying that. Yes we're pissed off that Germany decided to not bother against Ireland, but we gave away the silly goal at the end. Of course the killer blow was last month's defeat to Georgia. Our record against Poland and Ireland was excellent, but the Georgia result cost us. The only blame being handed out is to Gordon Strachan and the players. Serious questions must be asked once we've player our final game on Sunday.

Once again we must look forward to our next campaign. Easier group but harder to qualify with the top team making it and only 2nd will get a play-off spot. I'm in the awkward position of hoping England don't do a Germany and actually live up to their billing as the group's top seeds.

Well I never said you were a cybernat :p I don't think you spend your free time sending Twitter insults to J K Rowling, do you? ;)

Im just so happy that Northern Ireland have made it for the first time :) I think it's great that England, Northern Ireland and Wales are all at the top of their groups, it's a shame that the same didn't happen for Scotland.

In fairness, we did have the hardest group by far. Germany, Poland and Ireland a sickener.

Oh well, at least we just qualified for the next stage of the Rugby World Cup. Makes me feel a bit better.

Congrats :it: :be: & :wale: xcheer

Wales lost against Bosnia but still qualified since Israel surprisingly lost to Cyprus. Now, Cyprus in fact has the chance to become 3rd place by beating Bosnia. It seems unlikely but at least they play at home, so maybe we will have a big plot twist in this group? ;)

Qualified teams are: :fr: :en: :cz: :is: :at: :pt: ::ulst :es: :ch: :it: :be: :wale: -> 12/24 = 50% :D

Tomorrow I expect us to qualify. Georgia shouldn't be a big obstacle for us. Then there is the super-interesting match between Poland and Ireland. I think Poland is strong enough to win this match and seal the deal. -> :de: & :pl: qualify tomorrow

Already two hours before :ro: will beat :fo: and safe the ticket to France as well!

:al: against Armenia is hard to predict for me. Is Albania mature enough to keep their nerves and win this match? They are not good in dominating matches against solid defenses... It's a 50-50 match for me cause Armenia is always able to score with the quality players they have in the attack, especially Mkhitaryan. -> 50% :al: % 50% :dk:

What did I forget xthink

Aaah yes:

xwave xwave Good bye Netherlands. Have fun watching the Euro matches in television next year :D
