In 2005, 16-min extra time were given in the last match of the season (our biggest rival's match) in Turkish league. I was almost getting a heart attack!

Well, that match between Mexico and Panama, I think, was definitely fixed... Did those 16 minutes in the Turkish league mattered when it came to the final score?

You know what is funny.. in germany the fans critisize the referees for giving not enough extra time. Even in matches with many interruptions (for example injuries) the referee use to blow the final whistle after 2 or 3 minutes of extra time :p

Actually I agree with you guys, I also prefer less extra time so I'm actually fine with German referees :D

The truth is that the referees generally abuse the extra time rule... I don't even know when was the last time that a referee didn't give any extra time... And it's not like there's a lot of breaks in every single match.

Thankfully no :) It ended in a draw and my team became the champion at the end.

But referees might be using that extra time "power" to fix the games. Or at least let some particular teams to score in that time. I don't really trust them. It should be like in basketball games: time stopping during the game, not adding time.

Austria qualified for the first time (apart from being prequalified as co-host in 2008) and they did a truly amazing job!

:at: xcheer xcheer xcheer :at:

Also congrats to :is:, the other new superpower in the world of football!

The waiting comes to an end and the Euro Qualifiers are back xcheer

Since my favorite club is losing every match the international caps weekends are the most enjoyable for me

These teams are already qualified: :fr: (obviously), :en: :cz: :is: :at: = 5/24

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We Germans can become the 6th team today provided that we don't lose our away match in Dublin against :ie:
This will ba a tough match but getting a draw is enough and I don't see us failing today :)
If :pl: loses in :sc: we are safe even with a loss xup

Probability for Germany to qualify today: 90%

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Northern Ireland will be qualified if they win against :gr:. However, if :hu: doesnt defeat :fo: Northern Ireland can even lose to Greece and still qualify today. I guess Northern Ireland will need a win though.

It's hard to predict how Greece will perfom, so the probability for Northern Ireland to qualify today is: 50%

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
:ro: can also qualify today but only if they win and Hungary doesn't win, which is unlikely imo. I think the Romanians have to be patient and wait until Sunday :D

Probability: 10%

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For :pt: a draw against :dk: is enough to qualify because they would have won the face-to-face against Denmark and Denmark is done with all their matches. Probability: 90%

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another surprising team :al: might qualify today as well if they win the (hopefully peaceful) match against :rs: while Denmark doesnt win against :pt:
Probability: 60%

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In conclusion, I'm pretty sure of :de: and :pt: qualifying tonight and either Northern Ireland or :al: as a third team.

If the Polish players can arrive drunk that would be really nice.

Anyways, we're all going to the game tonight, so let's hope it's a good experience.

Albanians hummiliated on their own field! This is what I wanted to see from the start.

Come on UEFA, give them 3 points to make them stop crying. Hmmm, but maybe they should have brought another drone for this match, after all this is what they are best at.

Very happy for the :pt: qualification! We played much better in this game against :dk: than we did against :al:. We have 6 victories in a row, it's a record for Portugal in qualifying tournaments.
Also congrats to Northern Ireland for their debut!!

Absolutely no need for that, but considering the behaviour of the Polish fans at Hampden, I'm not surprised.

Needless to say, I'm gutted. We didn't desereve that, and the German's royally screwed us tonight.

Did you just imply that I'm rude? Then how would you describe this post of yours:

If the Polish players can arrive drunk that would be really nice.

I watched the game, and I think that Scotland didn't deserve the win, most of the time you were playing sloppily. On the other hand, the Poland team also didn't give their best (apart from Lewandowski), especially Błaszczykowski disappointed me the most. The draw seems more or less fair to me.
