The game is about to end now, and  is leading 2:0.

However, the game ended like 20 minutes ago when they scored a second goal.

As soon as they scored, our players didn´t even try anymore. They immediately went like: " F*ck, its over!", and became hopeless.

This is really nothing new for our players and sport. As soon as we start losing the slightest, we "crack". Hate this type of mentality (but it seems like there is no cure for this).

And the funniest thing is that it always happens at the most crucial games.

I was afraid that this might happen, and it did. Even if we manage to qualify for EURO 2016, I am not optimistic at all!
The chances are like 99% that we will flop at the group stage. Because as I said, it is always the most crucial games that we lose.

Can you give an update on the German team? Have they come down with a virus or something? Only way we can win.

Ehm, no we are even better and more focussed than before. The only virus our player caught it the success virus xqueenbitch

No seriously, I think we will have a hard time against you cause Scotland is always an unpleasing opponent with good defending and strong physical play. I think we will win 2:1 or something like that.
It's surely a good news for you that Reus can't play due to an injury, however he also missed against Poland and he missed the whole world cup so that's probably a bad argument :D But he was in good form and he would have helped us and without him we are a little bit weaker :)

The usual... but I'm glad it happened in qualifiers and not in the tourney. ^^ I still think we can get that top 2, not sure how Norway will do against Italy, but I'm praying Italy and Bulgaria draw. :D

Nowadays terror is everywhere around the country, people are so afraid and unhappy
so this score helped us be happy a little :)

What an awful performance, actually 90 minutes of my life wasted pointless...

but screw it, :is: made it to the Euro!!! :D

I'm so delighted... what a great campaign of Iceland!

Smallest countries that ever qualified.

I think all Icelandic people can be proud tonight

I'm starting to get really excited. Since Italy won now, we're 2nd in the group, but it's starting to look like we could get to our first tournament since Euro 2000.

Qualifiers history:
World Cup 2002, we finished 4th in our group.
Euro 2004, we finished 2nd in our group, but lost against Spain in playoffs.
World Cup 2006, we finished 2nd in our group (behind Italy actually), knocked out by Czech Republic in playoffs.
Euro 2008, we finished 3rd in our group.
World Cup 2010, we finished 2nd in our group, but didn't get to playoff because we were the worst runner up.
Euro 2012, we finished 3rd in our group.
World Cup 2014, we finished 4th in our group.

So we're not there yet, because I'm worried about playoffs, but the wins over Bulgaria and Croatia this week have been very important. We still have to play against Italy (in Italy, so that will be hard), so if Croatia win their last 2 matches, we might still be in trouble, but I like the energy our players are showing. :)

Oh, and it's awesome what Iceland has done. I'm so happy! :D

Yeah, many people don't know this, but Iceland has a smaller population than Malta and Luxembourg! So their qualification really is a great feat!

Big, big congratulations to Iceland xcheer
On the other hand, Italy has to have the most boring playstyle in whole Europe... yeah, they do win most of the time, but it's usually by one or at most two goals and they play defensively most of the time.

Morty First of all: Congratulations to you for the huge win against Croatia. I didnt expect Norway to be good enough to reach such a win against a big team like Croatia. Norway could have won even higher, as I saw there were some chances to make the 3rd goal at the end of the match.

I'm always rooting for Norway because I love Scandinavia and cheer for every nordic team (even for boring Denmark). However, I still don't really believe that you make it to the Euro next year to be honest. I guess Croatia will win both of their last matches. Bulgaria seems to be a harmless opponent and Malta is Malta. :D In that case Norway has to defeat Italy ... Well, probably Italy will be already qualified before the match against you, so that is positive for you. But nevertheless it's very hard to beat them. I saw the first match between Italy and Norway and there was a big quality difference between these teams.

Basically I think Norway will reach the 3rd place and qualify for the play-off matches. The problem for Norway is that I think they will be in the unseeded pot together with teams like Israel and Hungary and so on. You will get an opponent of the seeded pot, that might be Russia, Denmark or Ukraine... Norway has to overachieve to beat teams like those, but ofc there is a chance.

In general I'm delighted that Norway is taking steps forward again in football. Two clubs qualified for the group stage in the Europa League, national team reach some good results and you got talents like Martin Ödegaard. I think you guys don't have to be worried about the future, I just don't see you reaching the Euro. I hope I'll be wrong

--------------------------------------

So far these teams qualified: :en: :is: :cz:

Tomorrow another "small" team can save the tickets for France: Northern Ireland!
They just need to beat :hu: on their home ground.

:de: can qualify as well but only if they win and if :ie: loses against :ge: and tbh I don't see that happen

From Group I no team can qualify yet, it' so damn close between :pt: :al: and :dk:

Congrats for the win! xcheer  absolutely deserved to win today! Our team had absolutely no idea what to do on the field. It's what always happen with Croatia; it's a typical Croatian mentality: we were first in the group and we have underestimated Azerbaijan (even though I'd say their coach played a huge role in the draw, he was a legendary Croatian player) and Norway. And now we're in danger of having to go through play-offs. xfacepalm The Croatian players seemed absolutely unmotivated to me. A big amount of our players play in the best clubs and the level they showed today is on the level of some Pot 4 country. For example, Mario Mandžukić had 2-3 amazing chances to score the goal (when it was still 0:0) but he missed all of them. The other players were also far from their usual level. They wanted to play more defensively (in both matches), just to catch the result 1-0 but Croatia never wins when it plays this way round. Only Italy can play like that (they always win with a one-goal difference). We should attack until the last minute like we did in the first matches (6:0 against Azerbaijan and 5:1 against Norway). That kind of Croatia can go very far on the Euro 2016, I dare to say even to the last phases. We have one of the strongest (Croatian) teams ever and it would be a shame if we don't make the most out of it. Even though, Croatia needs a new, more experienced coach.

Anyway, I don't worry too much about qualifying to the Euro. I'm sure we will qualify in whichever way. I'd say Norway will qualify as well. I think the best ranked 3rd team will be from our group. In the end, even Italy could end 3rd if Norway won against them (and Croatia wins both matches of course).

-----

On the other hand, I'm so happy for :is:! xbow I've always cheered for them and really wanted to see them on the big tournament! That's such a big result for such a small country!

And congats to :cz: as well! :D

Even though I always support small teams, I have to say I feel a bit worried for :nl:. I thought they would destroy :tr: today. They're one of the few big teams I actually support, along with :de:.

I really hope :sl: will qualify! xpray
