Victor said the reason he got so bad jury score, was because his performance in the semi was really bad, so he wasn't surprised. At least he is not deluded, and is honest. That is good.

I wonder why didn't they use Eurovision tiebreak rules in Eesti laul this year. It wouldn't have changed Inga position but Sissi would have 16 and Victor 14 in first round. They really tried to push Victor Crone and decision to not reveal full results or percentages makes it more fishy...

I already feel sorry for poor Eurovision juries who have to listen his live vocals in May. There he can't sing over his own studio voice.

Tumblr, mostly.
Yeah the main problem here is just Victor himself. Lack of voice AND lack of personality and I doubt either can be trained in time (then again, Uku managed to learn both in a year, so just get Kirkoroff onto it and they'll be fine).

I really wish Stig had just kept Storm for himself. No one would bat a lash at any of the flaws "Storm" has, and it would effortlessly cruise to an eigth place in the Grand Final. With Victor Estonia would be lucky to even make it past the Semifinal.

Don't be too sure! There's tons of people out there who just love this song!

Personally I think the song is way too generic too be of any interest, and the bad singing doesn't help, of course.
The only good thing about this (thus 1 point in the poll) is Victor's looks. Sad though.

I guess they went with the highest score over the amount of votes, Ingas 12 beating Sissis 10.

Haven't they always released the full results a few days after the show? Or have they said somewhere that full results won't be published this year? I wouldn't decend into conspiracy theories just yet. It's not as if Victor winning the televote suddenly came out of nowhere. He was clearly leading the polls, most talked about in the comments, best reception since the songs were released. I would have been surprised if he hadn't won the televote, going by local reactions. If, out of nowhere, Swingers or Sissi suddenly stormed to victory, there'd be cause for suspicion. As is, I don't think the producers really needed to fake it.

It's almost as if Storm was supposed to win this year. Had at least one juror given him 1 less point, he would have missed the super final. Had they used the the tiebreak rule, he would have been out.

I mean, it's just that last juror's 6 points that got him to be tied with Sissi on the overall scoreboard. It makes his victory kind of amusing actually.

Storm got less points from jury than it deserved for the performance in the final (because they gave points for his worse performance in SF), so him finally still winning it is nothing but FAIR.

Int. Jury needs to go. I dont give a fuck what some American producer thinks of our songs. Plus the number of jurors was exceptionally low this year, which means the result was much more random. Big fail in that sense. Happy to see GP opinion prevailed.

I prefer international juries and I sure as hell preferred their voting to the public's. They don't know the songs or artists beforehand like our people do so they can be more objective than local juries. All they need to do is pick people from Europe next time and have there be more than 7 jurors.

Full results for the final have been released! No semis yet tho', aside from mentioning how many votes the winners of each semi got. I hope they update it later with full semi results. In any case, Victor won both rounds with a pretty sizeable lead.

Sissi did incredibly well I have to say. And that song was garbage. I'm sure she will represent us some day. Fantastic voice.

So Storm got almost the double of 2nd place votes in the first round and easily killed it in the super final (23K vs 15K and 12K).

It would have been an absolute disaster if 7 glorified "experts" who had nothing to with Estonia would have screwed the absolute public favorite.

It's been an absolute disaster anyway. Fire Tomi Rahula.

Disagree. He deserves 2nd maybe 3rd chance. He deserves a chance to learn from his mistakes and actually Eesti Laul Final as a show was better than it has been for years.

Can NOT blame him (only) for poor level of songs quality.

Point pool based on vote % would still be a decent idea IMO. There should be some way of recognizing when a song has a minimal lead vs. a proper landslide. Overturning the public vote when the public themselves is undecided is one thing, but when one song clearly has a huge lead, having it tossed out thanks to a few random 'experts' seems especially lame.

I doubt they'll be firing Tomi after one year. Unless the job is too stressful and he quits on his own.
