Are you kidding? Tanja`s Estonian is like million times better than Stefan`s. He even spoke some russian words tonight and some sentences were a total mess plus he had difficulties to say what he wants. It made me cringe and I am not alone.

This is years of practice, honey. When she first came to the spotlight with that talent show and Nightlight Duo, she could barely speak any words in Estonian. I remember Tanja having a language quite similar to Stefan's when I was younger.

True, but why are you talking about the distant past? She spoke close to perfect language by the time she entered the contest with Unamazing

Voted for Victor a few times and once for Stefan, sorry. Uku's win avoided though, thank God. I feel I would've peaced off for 4 months if that had happened. xshifty Both Victor and Stefan also got an extra vote from me when he said he should win because he's Estonian, oof. I've never really liked him, Stefan won me over because I just love him as a person and he performed well, and I'm also quite fond of Victor (loved his reacton when he got to the superfinal), and I love the song. Sending another Stig song might be a bit disappointing, but hey, he's still great, so so be it. And in the end it was Estonians' clear choice ... xshrug The inclusion of Saara Kadak in the performance was clever though, and I happily fall for it, she just won the Golden Season of Your Face Sounds Familiar a couple months ago and is my absolute girl crush at the moment, what a badass talented woman (I do wonder if her being known/loved here AND Estonian did help a bit though lol, even if she is there for just a few seconds). I hope she'll be there in Tel Aviv. xheat

Having Sissi's bland nothing of a song in top 3 and Sandra's dated production 5th makes these jury results a little suspect for me. But I guess we'll have to wait several months to see how much Eurovision juries agree or disagree with them.

I hope they release the semi results & voting numbers soon! I want to see who got what and where and when.

Sissi's vocals were really good though, especially in the semi. And the presence. Sandra had vocals + the song stands out and sounds very interesting for foreigners. Both were better than e.g. Storm by these measurements.

the thing with this choice is that estonia is going for a swedish manplank when even sweden doesn't like swedish manplanks anymore. storm should have been in eurovision 3 years ago.

Yeah, the "vote for me becuse I'm the only Estonian!" line by Uku was a really lame move. I can understand Victor being a foreign invader, but Stefan really doesn't qualify. Made Uku look like a right douche IMO.

He probably suspected Victor was his main competition and that's why he said it but yeah it sounded really bad for Stefan. Would he have said that with Sissi standing there too? Should have thought twice.

Yes, but did you hear the audience reaction ... same reaction probably at homes. Most of people are just not very smart, so lame shit usually works very well

It's also a bit rich when his most recent claim to fame is being on a Russian talent show and his performance had input by Kirkorov :p

Mart Normet didn't like the idea of 100% international juries and said allowing pre-recorded backing vocals was a pointless idea.
Also, he admitted it was Uku's fourth time trying with Pretty Little Liar.

Which probably means it deserved to be in the competition earlier and didnt deserve to win. Also I dont understand the thought behind sending one song 4 times?

Ok, so I'm away for two hours and that happened? xthink I need to read the tea of the pages I missed.

I warned you if Storm won, I'd give you 3 points.

1 point because it's a listenable track.
1 point because the overlay is the only exciting element of the whole package.
1 point for Victor as a foreigner due to the hassle of travelling between Sweden and Estonia. It's not easy.

I'm not here for this, so I'll see you next year, hopefully in better shape.

Now let me check the voting breakdown, I've heard there were some surprises.

Kinda sad we so rarely get the second half draw, and when we do, songs like Play and Storm get chosen.

Storm will definitely be the best choice of this night, no matter what :( What a horrible NF evening. And it started so well, but I am somewhat glad I had to work till 21:30 tonight. I wouldve got too excited for nothing. Thanks Victor though for saving this night. Atleast one of my faves won then.
