Victor was lucky that Sissi wasnt 2nd with the Juries, otherwise he would have been out.
Btw. 10 Points.
How do you know that? Sissi may have got 0 from televote
If they go for int. juries again next year, less americans please. They don't even take part in Eurovision so I'm not sure what the point of having so many of them was.
And why are some people mad at the juries being Americans? Aren't professionals supposed to not think about Eurovision anyway? Just ranking the vocals, production, delivery etc? Which is exactly what they did! Storm is just very unoriginal and he didn't deliver at semi finals either, so.. totally justified ranking.
At least we know for sure who will be juries last place in semifinal!
The sad thing is, tonight showed it well that the Eurovision juries would most likely hype Stefan and help him qualify despite a lower televoting result. I see Storm failing with both.
It's so sad Stefan did not win. I don't even like the song, but it would at least earn points from the juries.
I think we should aim for juries that best represent European taste, if we want them to be a good indication of potential success. 'The only reason to have int. juries at all is to find out who might vote for us come May, and if 70% of them represent a whole different kind of taste, I don't see the point.
I disagree, the only reason they had international juries was to see how Estonian music is seen from the outside. And it worked well imo.
Their votes were professional and easily explained, so I don't get the fuss. They did their job really well.
My MAIN problem with the show was they were asking Stefan like million questions (probably the most) and he clearly sucks in Estonian and we Estonians dont reallly appreciate someone who speaks broken language (especially with russian accent). That could have affected some voters. Even Victor talking just couple of Estonian words felt/looked much better.
Sounds ridiculous. Everybody I know likes Stefan's personality and for example, Tanja has always been loved despite having a broken language. And in case you're right, I hope Estonians can do better than that.
