I dont think Juries (except 2-3 Countries maybe) hate Russia. Their Results have usually been fair in the Past.

I never said that they hate Russia but they are more sceptical about Russia! But yes they are usually fair with Russia!

I am fed up with all the drama we have this season. It destroys the effect of this happy, loving ESC family. I have never felt this much hatred towards the acts coming from a huge amount of people concerning a ESC season. So many dislikes on each video. People being super pissed.

I mean, the drama in Ukraine is the icing on the cake really, but the whole drama was fun when this lady in Ireland back in 2014 was popping from her chair to insult the judges. But this gets all out of hand. It makes me angry. I like a little drama, being a drama queen myself. But guys, I am done. Even without being involved, it costs nerves to see this. I dont know about you. I always thought we're going the right direction, but what happens? Its the opposite. So disgusted.

Eh, depends on what you call rigging. Most countries do no rig by putting their target last. Jurors that engage in rigging usually put their target in the lower point range, so they finish between 7th and 11th on the overall list. This is definitely what happened to Sergey in the past.

Personally, I didn't mind that either, because "You are the only one" tried WAY too hard to win Eurovision and I'm happy it lost to an act I didn't even expect to have a chance :) (Dami Im  ) oh and the eventual winner, I suppose O:-)

Welcome to a bit of that reality that we from :se: have experienced the latest years from other fans. It´s disgusting. It shouldn´t exist for anyone no matter where they are from or which country you represent.

And if this don´t get a solution fast, the competition will be dead in 5-10 years from now

Putting Sergey at 7th-11th is no rigging, but totally fair. I think that was their honest Opinion.

But that consistently? Very odd in my opinion.

I don't mind, because lol, I would have put Sergey at #20 if I were a juror. But considering he was THE favourite going in, it's defo odd that the jurors didn't rank him higher than they did.

About Sergey I feel like the amazing staging and performance might have dragged him down a bit somehow lol
Like sometimes I don't like stuff because it seems so over the top and flawless
As I heard someone said once that there's so much glazing on the cake that you forget the cake

I think Sergey deserved some more jury points though

I think people are looking too much into the internals and ignoring the chances of the NF winners just because a lot of their favourites were wiped out. I think of 6 or 7 NF songs that could contend for victory. From the internals, I'm assuming Russia, Armenia, Netherlands and Austria will come with something strong. I also have a feeling about Ireland.

Armenia got this in the bag. I'm sooo hyped about it this year. Moscow or Yerevan 2020.

Just saw that this Saturday will be killing again … haven't decided yet which Final to watch … try out my multi-tasking skills again with Iceland, Moldova and Norway. I am happy that Festival da Canção is starting later.

Finland - Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu Final
Georgia - Sakartvelos Varsk'vlavi Final
Iceland - Söngvakeppnins Final
Moldova - O melodie pentru Europa Final
Norway - Melodi Grand Prix Final
Portugal - Festival da Canção Final

Not necessarily looking to disagree with you here, but what NF choices so far are you seeing as contenders for the win? I can only think of maybe Australia, Slovenia, Italy and Estonia, and while I like all four to an extent I think they're very much long shots.

Sorry, meant to clarify, when I said NF songs, I don't just mean the ones going to ESC, but the ones still competing. I think Sweden with John Lundvik have a huge chance, along with Norway and Iceland. As for the ones you said, the only one I disagree with is Slovenia. I can't see it qualifying. But it' a hard one to figure out.

Ah, that's fair enough then. I agree that John, at least, would at least stand a decent chance (and I do think Slovenia could go anywhere, with an NQ being entirely possible).

I'm slightly less sure on Norway and Iceland, assuming there that you're talking about KEiiNO and Hatari. Either of them could be my personal winner for the year, as I love them both, and I think either one could absolutely win the televote... but I'm a little less confident about their chances with juries. Though I'd be happy to see how things went for them either way if that means getting them at Eurovision!

I have to disagree there a bit, none of our NF songs this year is a ESC-winner but we have a few songs that very well could get a decent result

This year is really shaping up for a Lazarev victory. Of all the songs we have heard so far, I can only see Lundvik win. He would definitely win the jury vote.
Soldi, I think people widely overestimate the appeal of this song. Completely flopped in San Remo with the public. I mean he was almost last with the public on the first night. Eurovision winner? No way.
Hatari? I think they will be killed by the juries, borderline qualfier at best.
Spirit in the sky? My favourite in the norway selection, but the song is quite cheesy lbh, juries won't rank this high.
Sebi? I think it's way too lowkey to attract massive televoting interest.

Basically internally selected songs need to deliver.
