I have no words to describe this ESC-year so far. It sounds like whining, but yes 2018 was so much better. There are still many more Songs to come and I can just hope (probably in vain though) that there will be at least ONE damn song that sets me on fire.

According to esckaz Facebook page:

Prices for the Eurovision 2019 tickets have been revealed by broadcaster KAN. Tickets for the final show will be priced from 1150 to 2000 NIS, and it is possible to purchase rehearsal tickets from 350 NIS.

1500 Green Room VIP tickets will also be available for each show and purchases will get a chance to watch the contest alongside delegations and hosts, accompanied by food and drinks and will receive branded Eurovision merchandise.

Final:
• Golden Ring - 1,500 NIS = 366 EUR
• Prime Seats - 1,700 NIS = 415 EUR
• Level 2 seats 1,350 NIS = 329 EUR
• Hall seats - 1,150 NIS = 281 EUR
• Green Room (VIP) - NIS 2,000 = 488 EUR

Semifinals:
• Golden Ring - 1,150 NIS = 280 EUR
• Prime Seats - 1,250 NIS = 305 EUR
• Level 2 seats - 1,000 NIS = 244 EUR
• Hall seats - 750 NIS = 183 EUR
• Green Room (VIP) - 1,000 NIS = 244 EUR

Final rehearsals:
• Golden Ring - 1,150 NIS
• Prime Seats - 1,250 NIS
• Level 2 seats - 1,000 NIS
• Halls seats - 500 NIS

Semifinal rehearsals:
• Golden Ring - 900 NIS
• Prime Seats - 1,000 NIS
• Level 2 - 750 NIS
• Hall seats - 350 NIS

Looks like Eurovision is not going to come cheap this year. Those prices are seriously debilitating.

I mean, I never intended to be the person to say this: But who else is super disappointed in the National Selections this year, especially all of those selected songs? :(

Lets all go to bed now, cry and .. yeah. Good night.

Yeah, I'm not too thrilled with the songs selected so far.

For some context, I've been active on these forums since around 2014, and I've seen the usual threads every year of "this year is so weak, there are no good songs yet." And for all of those last five years, I responded with "no, it's fine, stop overreacting", and was quite happy with the overall quality. So it feels weird to flip over to the other side this year and complain about the lack of good songs.

Mind you, I'm not one of these people carrying on about "worst year ever", "RIP Eurovision 2019" or all that, like I've seen in recent years and on other forums. And I'm happy to see that others here are enjoying the current lineup, of course. But we're 12 songs in, and I still haven't rated a single song at 8 or above in the polls here; I still have nothing that'd make my top 10 in a decent year (maybe Estonia or Spain, at a stretch, in 9th or 10th), or that I'd be happy to see winning. And when I'm usually loving at least a few of the choices and rewarding them with 8s, 10s or 12s at this point of the year, it's a bit of an odd feeling to not have that excitement right now.

Hopefully, it's a feeling I won't have for long; there are another 30 songs to come, of course, plus revamps (which can go either way). Things will probably improve, and even if not, other years have had a lower average quality than this (I wasn't much a fan of 2008/2011) before returning to a strong lineup the next year. It's just... a bit weird to be on the complaining, moaning, depressed side after wholeheartedly brushing off those concerns for the last five years

On the wrong side as usual. I like this year. I thought 2018 was shockingly bad. 2017 was average but had one of the best winners in history. 2016 was poor. 2015 was the last great year for me.

As for the remaining fan favourites, I expect most of them to win. Spirit In The Sky for sure, likely Hatari as well. MARUV more likely than before Kazka's performance. Conan is probably screwed, but that's no great loss.

I can't wait until the selection season is over, people get over the losses(and themselves) and focus on what is actually going, and appreciate that.

I agree with Alaska. Some serious fatalism going on here. We all have crushing loses in national finals. How you deal with them is what matters.

Way too early to say that this is the worst year ever! There are many more songs to come and some of them may be good so the year overall won't be a disaster. Of course they may be bad too and then the year will be weak! The main reason that fans are disspaointed is not because the songs are bad so far but because their favourites in national finals did not got selected! For example in Romania's case i wanted Bella or Laura because both songs were 12 for me. But Ester's song is not that bad actually and i gave 5 points so far.

The worst year i remember was propably 2011. An unpopular opinion is that 2009 was bad too but i know most people loved it. 2016, 2017 and 2018 were all ok. There were some songs i really liked in theese years.

I do agree, I think on Saturday night my disappointment was just coming from work at 21:30, opening all windows for the NFs and reading what was going on. I wasn't hyped or anything. It was all just .. blah. And I have to admit, I had one of my biggest faves in Slovenia, Croatia, Latvia and Romania and they all lost which is a painful feeling, because you dont end up being like: "YAAAAAS! Someone I REALLY root for". The days come by and I realize the potential in Slovenia and Ester on the other side was one of my faves, just not on Top 1. I think revamps can really lift the songs up and to be quite fair, and I dont want to sound horrible, I am sometimes quite happy to have songs that I am not loving a lot, because if they get lost in the semis, well, I am not too sad. I had so many cases where I warmed up to probably all of them and well .. I do think its gonna happen this year. Czech Republic just got better points from me, because I like it somewhat now, and Montenegro too. No shame in my game.

I am hopeful. And by the end of april I probably fell in love with all the contestants again and could cry over each and everyone failing in the semis. Its soo sad. Well yeah.

I agree with 2009. But 2011 was incredible imo. We had many legendary Songs like :gr::az::ua::ba::ge::at::rs::lt::md: etc, one of the best hostcountries, 2 very good hosts, amazing interval-acts, one of the most memorable Stages and probably the most exciting Voting for a long Time.

to give myself some perspective and rationality after the DISASTER in germany today:

CATEGORICALLY GOOD NF CHOICES: :sl::it::au::al::es::fr:
I WANTED SOMETHING ELSE BUT FINE NF CHOICES: :ro::cz:
DISAPPOINTING BUT TOLERABLE NF CHOICES: :lv::ee::uk:
CATEGORICALLY BAD NF CHOICES: :hr::me::de:

don't be impressed by the most recent NF results, mr. alaska. this year is STILL FINE. you won't die.

Weve heard all NF-Songs this year except :ge:. Cant believe how far it went. I think from all NF-Songs  will be the Winner, but I guess the internal Songs will be better.

this is a very weird ESC season. Our winner is more and more likely coming from an internal selection.

So far I'm betting on Russia or Belgium to win it all, purely based on recent entries and success, it's anybody's game though
from the NF : Slovenia is strong, France is so-so and if Keiino wins in Norway it will be a contender for a top 10 I think

Deep inside we all know that Russia will win this year. From the NF-Songs, Norway should be the Winner.

I don't think that Russia will come out so strong to be the clear no1 for the win and also i'm not sure what juries will do in case Russia brings a song that fans will love. It will be interesting!
