I stopped reading right there because, really, that's just ridiculous.

You shouldn't read the rest, because you wouldn't like it anyway.
I find ridiculous how can someone deny that Turkey and Georgia had similar songs in 2012. The vibe is THE SAME! They creat the same exact atmosphere. So cut the ridiculous argument. Bashing my opinion won't change it. And hey, I already told you: I have the right to disagree with you. You can stop quoting me from now on.

I'm going to analyze all the performances in HD soon. These are my first thoughts.

It's a shame really. This year's edition is totally forgettable. Norway didn't deserve to be at the bottom. Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine or UK should be there instead.
Denmark at #23? Is this voting for real?
It's hard to believe Russia came 2nd with such song. If it was Portugal or Spain sending that song they will come last, undoubtedly. Eurovision is very biased right now which makes me want to get away from it.
And why is Azerbaijan's average ballad at #4 and Spain's outstanding ballad at #10? Again, because it's Spain.
Turkey is very overrated. Georgia had a similar song and they didn't qualify. Turkey came 7th place because of the televoting (diaspora), for sure.
Sweden... The winner is very cliché, I heard millions of songs like that over the years. I think Loreen won because of her peculiar dance moves. But since I was never a fan of yoga, the performance never did something for me.
Spain is the legit winner this year, in my book.

Are you aware of that actually all cliches are what you write, not the voting results? Turkey got a very diverse votes from 21 different countries. What kind of diaspora is this? What kind of diaspora does Turkey have in Malta which gave to Turkey 12 points in semi and 8 points in final while Bosnia gave only 4 points?

This years result showed us people are interested in creativity not just music. So Sweden and Russia was far beyond than other countries with the difference in their show. I don't like both, but they have responded very well to audience. If only musical quality and performances are considered, imo, Serbia or UK should have won the contest. But people I guess demand creativity and difference anymore.

Many congrats to :se: Sweden, Loreen and 'Euphoria'! You sure "did a Rybak" - fantastic! :D xcheer :D

Great result also for Serbia, was my 2nd favourite on the night - great performance! :)

Iceland and Cyprus, you were underrated.

Thank the heavens the Russian song did not win.

And Tooji, you deserved soo much better..

Serbia is rather middle of the road in every aspect.

No voice like Spain or Albania
No, because Zeljko is a man, not a woman!

No show like Malta, Cyprus or Greece
Is it supposed to jump like a maniac? "Nije ljubav stvar" is a ballad. These three songs are not and can not be compared

No emotion like Bosnia or UK
No emotion??!?

No charisma like Russia or Sweden.
He is in third place :D

Your taste and your insult. I like Turkish entry, and Georgian entry is funny but weak. They both sings well but they're toally different.

Second and third places are really overrated in my opinion! I don't know why but I can't understand what people find in Serbia's song. Anyway, respect!
Last places were unfair. I am sorry for United Kingdom, Iceland and Denmark.

Anyway, nice to see Loreen as winner. Go Sweden!

I don't see your comments as an attack. But there's a common delusion of people, when their country fails. I saw that in Turkey too. When Turkey eleminated on semi final last year, lots of people said what we can do, most of europe hate Turks. On the other hand, the reason was not that. The reason was the song itself.

In the documentary of Hidden History of ESC, British ESC expert says the votes are nothing political or religious. It is just cultural. People vote for the songs they like and give a taste of their culture. I totally agree this idea.

If it was political, Cyprus would never give 8 points first time to Turkey in 2003 when Turkey won the contest first time or Turkey would never give 12 points to Greece in 2005 when Greece won the contest.

and music, it's personal taste and somehow cultural. You dont like a song in Spain, but people like the same song in east europe.
Damn it! You may be right but what the hell.. Georgia giving 12p to Lithuania in 2011 and 2012?!?!? Georgia giving 12p to Belarus in 2010? Dear friend that is not music, that is politic. Im not saying youre wrong because i think you are right. I just think that some countrys still vote political

Yeah bro, i understand. but let me give you example, When USA attack middle east, first they started "brain wash" by using media (newspaper, Tv news and internet). After all president Bush said "we are sorry, we didn't found any missile". Today news are unfair too, because they are under control. Have you ever ask yourself why they decided to write now? Is that only Azerbaijan in the world have this situation? Human rights breaks everywhere. Of course people like you definitely trust media. People who got damage house, they get paid. But media showed that "oh Azerbaijan destroying house for Eurovision". The only problem was they want extra more money and government didn't want to pay that amount. Of course we will destroy unnecessary building and rebuild new crazy project. We want to make not only Baku different city, but also Ganja, Sungayit, Qabala, Quba ... etc.

i don't want to go politic side, but only i can say the blogger who was against government they are free now, of course none of media will not say that ;)

How about event it is absolutely optional. If you don't like it ...perfect. First time everybody gets mistake, but we will learn where we did mistake and we will fix it.

I believe Sweden will do great job :).

I would just like to say that EBU has to show their position and not let the Azerbaijanic goverment decide

Please look up some facts before you '' analyse ''. Its a jury to, not only televoting dear friend. A million songs this year? Euphoria is an original, it can't be copyed and is not a copy.

You're right, it might be sometimes. My point is that the politics are not such effective to determine the winner song. There are few cases as you indicated, but to rank at a good place you need to have a common voice from most of countries.

And i must say people don't like 2nd and 3rd place but i must say i like it. Babushki ladies are so charmfull and cute! And the true party always starts when you have something in the oven and the cat and dog is in! Serbia also delivered a beautiful song with a great performance.
