I said it here (don't know if it was in this thread or in semi1) that this year they will be out of top 10. it just wasn't good enough.
well, at least I got that right xbow xrofl2

Actually,I didn't like song before so much. But after live performance I just love it now :D

You know, not to be a party pooper and no disrespect to Loreen or to Sweden, but isn't this supposed to be the Eurovision *song* contest? Not the "Vocalist of the Year" or "European Choreography Contest"?

As good as the vocals and the onstage performance were, I can't help but think that "Euphoria" is a very average, repetitive song. There were better songs tonight - better songs were eliminated in the qualifiers, to be fair.

Exactly. This was what I talked about all day. But considering 1st place of Sweden and 2nd place of Russia, people looked for something different instead of music. Both for Sweden and Russia, we cannot talk about really music and quality of musical elements.

@Patjee, I notice that as well, memorable and clever.

Congratulations to Sweden, truly a great song. Though, I do not remember my favourite ever finishing on such a low position. I strongly rooted for Denmark...

I wish Poland had taken part. :(

Who knows, maybe we'll join you guys and withdraw from the contest now. ;)

Why did nobody here notice the great words of the German spokesperson? "It's great to have a voice, It's great to have a choice, Baku"? I think this was the most memorable moment of the evening. Kudos for Germany - a lot.

Wow, that was very brave. I didn't notice it.

Such a relief that Russia didn't even come close. I really want to know the jury/televoter-ratio. When can we expect to have that revealed?

Sweden for sure won both televote and jury. Russia was probably 2nd in televote and Albania or Serbia 2nd in jury

EUPHOOOOOOOOOOOOORIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

xfruits:

I'm quite disappointed for our result, but happy that Sweden gave us 12, we got the 12 points of the winners! I don't know if we will ever be high in Eurovision, it's beyond our powers any more. Tiny Cyprus, Malta, or other countries like that with no many friends, we will do whatever we can...

Cyprus were great :D

Congratulations Sweden! It was well deserved. I hope Loreen manages to profit from this victory and become known worldwide.
I cried with emotion when she won xD I feel so silly. I was kinda expecting her to win, but I couldn´t stop the emotion xD
I´m also ashamed for only receiving 3 points from my country (Portugal).
She deserved so much! It´s a pitty that she didn´t break Rybak´s record. That would be epic xD

Stockholm 2013!!! xcheer

well u were crying, but loreen was as calm as always. i dont think i ve ever saw a more unemotional winner in esc.

Belgium lower than Montenegro?!
Netherlands lower than Georgia?!
I really do not want to do this, but at a moment like this I want to stop watching eurovision.

We should have done that years ago... ;)

Agreed.

And it seems Sweden will do fine without us anyway.

So grateful for the Finish points by the way, especially considering the way Sweden screwed us over completely.
