Biggest suprises for me: Slovenia 17th in semi, Lithuania 3rd in semi, Norway 26th (F), Greece 17th (F), Iceland 20th (F), Romania only 12th (I was sure for TOP10 :/)

Slovenia finshed 17th! Bulgaria and Norway tied for 10th, Lithuania was 3rd, Portugal 13th 7 points away form qualification and San Marino 14th

Well that could be the end of Eurovision. Can't see the point in Spain, France, Italy, UK, Portugal, Austria remaining in the contest even with good songs they will never win (Austria song this year was bad but if they sent in a good song same is still true imo). In the bad economic times the costs just aren't worth it. It's not that Sweden won, its the manner in how they won along with the fact that the top 8 is pretty much defined by regional and diaspora voting.

I actually think Greece may withdraw because of that 17th place...and I can really see ORF withdrawing because Austria finished last!

I'm quite disappointed for our result, but happy that Sweden gave us 12, we got the 12 points of the winners! I don't know if we will ever be high in Eurovision, it's beyond our powers any more. Tiny Cyprus, Malta, or other countries like that with no many friends, we will do whatever we can...

Malta actually qualified to the final with that song! Cyprus would do much better if you were later in the draw. And you finished higher than Greece! Finally!
