I honestly don't see why accent matters at all. It seems so weird that a lot of you guys are putting emphasis on how someone accentuates in an English language song, while most English speakers could probably care less.

The songs a grower, certainly no worse than a lot of efforts over the years.

Our commentator said that Lena's (I think it was) grandfather is supposedly of Estonian heritage and then kept talking about that the whole show. I personally doesn't really care about that, but for some reason (probably low self-esteem) some Estonian reporters have been trying to find famous people who have some unknown Estonian relative and then talk about them like they're Estonian, like one Hollywood actress and I think there was an athlete from another country at the Winter Olympics too. It really annoys me and I'm surprised that he didn't actually start calling it Estonian victory, LOL.

At least if we want a Swedish semi succes we don't need to look that far, we just need to see the songwriters.

Congratulations Germany!!!!! :D :D :D

It was not my fave, but still a very good song and it was indeed a deserved victory. It got points from almost everyone so thumbs up! :D
I'm very happy for Lena, who is one of the sweetest cratures in this world (do i have to sing now? ) and for our German friends. You so deserved it after many years and being so underrated last years :D

I enjoyed the show a lot, like a kid
And also I have to say that we had the fairest voting ever, except for Russia, which is 11th (WTF) because of the reasons we know. East and West voted for each other and you couldn't predict the votes most of the times. Great!

That's all. The fact that next Eurovision is in Germany might do possible that I'll be there. See ya in Germany, guys!

I've got only four things to say:

1. I'm so so so so so so so happy that Lena won. Not because I predicted it and I won a bet I placed (pay day tomorrow :D). That's a minor reason. If I consider 2010 as the last year of the decade 2001-2010, then I think that this is the fairest winner of this decade. But it's not only about the winner. Many other countries that in past years wouldn't have a chance to be in the Top10, this year they made it. If the balance has come due to the role of the jury, then may the jury be with us, live long and prosper. ;) There were a couple of injustices but I can live with them, given the results and the Top10. Justice is done :D

2. OOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We did a great job, we are in the Top10 once again and I hope that thanks to Giorgos and his Friends, the greek language will be present again in the future ESCs. xfruits:

3. My favourite entry finished second! Unbelievable! xwave1
Turkey gave a great show, they deserved it all the way! I am really happy for them!

4. Cyprus, seriously now, was that 10-pointer necessary?

Of course you are Top 10 Greece will never not be Top 10.

They are practically guaranteed a top 10 spot.

See 2003. And I actually find it one of the best if not the best Greek entry.

I also want to say how great most of the points were - so unpredictable and many pleasants surprises (a few that weren't so pleasant also occured). That made the show way more exciting that usual and loved that both East & West could be seen in all parts of the scoreboard.

PS Georgia gave Belarus 12...

Greece failed to even make it into the top 15 in 2002 and 2003 so they can fail.
But most years they actually send good songs with a greek feeling to it.

U.K. must be pissed

I can't talk for my fellow countrymen (and women) but we cheered when they read it out

The British commentary of it was excellent, as Graham was ecstatic that 'we got to double figures' and that we weren't bottom. And then at the end oh wow.....'she giveth and taketh away'

LOL, it's so funny how most people never notice why SAGAPO is one of the most special ESC tracks ever.
