That's rampant reptilian capitalism in its worst form, taking the enjoyment out of the contest.
Please, don't blame capitalism for anything. If we had communism instead, we wouldn't be enjoying ESC tonight, but party's leader 3 hours long speach about better future and leading role of working class ;>

Oh I'm by no means a left-footer :D

But it seems quite cynical to force advertisement down your throats during such a great event.

I wonder how Christer Björkman feels now when Sweden didn’t make it to the final and Denmark ended up as 4

I'm feeling awesome about our 4th-place in the final but your comment just made me feel even much better.

VERY HAPPY WITH GERMAN WIN!!!!

But really annoyed with the sabotage of the night to the Spanish performance. I give a big 0 to NRK for the worst securtiy, organisation and realisation ever. I'll never forgive that.

I'm so amused at that another one of our rejects did better than we did.
Our selection jury really need to rethink about what they pick.

Results were mostly amazing! Happy Belgium finished outside top 5 and Israel outside top 10. Main problem is Iceland's 19th place. Happy for Belarus' second last but they deserved last, too bad for the UK. After seeing Lena on stage, I believe she was a great person and she gave a great (bizarre) performanc to this great (cathy) song. I'm happy Germany get to win after 28 years with a margin of 76 points. :D

I ended up liking Romania and Georgia the most.

But glad for Lena and Germany and their win. Belgium was the biggest surprise to me, don't get the big fuss, too slow for me.

Wouldn't it be better asking what went well with Safura tonight?
Seeing those two countries A&A trying to outdo each other was the most pathetic display of one-upmanship (look it up on Wikipedia!) I have ever seen, and I am so glad they both bombed. Their final places were too good for them.
I also dislike the way Azerbaijan and Armenia keep dissing the other, it is so laaaaame.
i have nothing to do with either armenia or azerbaijan i live in the u.k and am a british pakistani the only thing i have in common with the armenia and azerbaijan is we are muslims i just liked the azerbaijan song better this year so i was surpporting them to win

Both Armenia and Azerbaijan had good songs, but the way the behave towards the other is so silly sometimes.

Yayyyy!!! We came 2nd! Thank you Europe!!!! =)))))

And congratulations to Lena, I'm really happy that she won =), and to all other participants, this was clearly one of the best Eurovision finals ever!!! :D :D :D :D

And for Spain's accident; shouldn't the dress rehearsals done because of this kind of situations? I mean, they are recorded for the accidents that could occur during the live show right? Why didn't they switch it to dress rehearsal video? =S Maybe they didn't realize that but it's weird as there were 3 dress rehearsals done before the final. =S

I am sorry but I don't see any sabotage here! On the contrary! Daniel's running order was #2, he finished his song and he sang it again in #26!! So he was the one that benefitted most!

He still ended up only 15th...  Can someone please explain to me what the problem was cause I didn't see any and they didn't really announce it in Bulgaria properly...
Yeah so this is clearly not this fan's fault. Even if he didn't get on stage Daniel would have ended up there. Maybe in a worse position!

I think EBU had to do the second performance since it is part of it's rules if something bad happens that was not the performers fault it needs to be performed again.
Besides they wanted to avoid issues with the spanish delgations since it was the securities fault it happened.

And for the fact that Spain gives one of the highest amounts of money to the EBU.
