I like DR's attitude We are participating to become the number one not number two otherwise Azerbaijan and Ukraine would not have any competition

Well our national final to be held in Odense on march the 8. At Arena Fyn with room for les than 5000 people
Maybe DR wants a intimate sing along show were all are sitting very close to the artists xwhistle

Yes, it really is unfortunate. Can't really understand why they chose this date, there must be some reasons behind. Is the arena occupied at other possibilities perhaps?

Totally. I usually don't even watch the DMGP though (almost all the songs sound the same to me, the song quality is usually not that high).
I suppose DR will make a smaller MGP so they can flow more money to the ESC. And I suppose it'll be in March because they think that the host entry should be chosen closer to the contest

Not all songs are old fashioned. I mean the recent Danish entries havent been so, except for 2010 (which I can't stand).
But overall most of the songs are too middle of the road and alike.
