I’m an open minded person who believes we all should be able to like and enjoy what we need to like and enjoy.... but that artists selection of favs there needs a blessing. I’m shaken. You can’t have that much Satan in one taste. I at least try to spread mine out a little.

I just think that if they take the ESC as seriously as they are taking this selective the Czech Republic will return to the bottom of the semi.

Apparently, this edition of ESCZ will be origami-themed. Each contestant picked origami of their choice (pig, crane, rabbit, eight-pointed star, dragon, lion and waterlily) and had to use it in their music video. The rabbit one makes me believe that Pam Rabbit might be back.

The artists of the national final will be unveiled on January 13th and the songs will be released on January 20th. On the same day, voting will start via the Eurovision app.

It's definitely few months old as it's a call for sponsors of the National Final.
ČT was looking for sponsors, in the pdf there is a mention of product placements, ads and other things they offered to the would-be sponsor and also the usual prices they charge for these things.

Along with that, they advertise one of the national final participants - Jakub Ondra.


So unless he's the one that dropped out, there will be Jakub Ondra again in the national final.
God save us all.

The wording is a bit funny on that one though, letting space for some doubt. Anyway, I don't mind Jakub, I just mind the possibility of him winning the televote based on the name recognition only. If he brings a slightly better song than Space sushi, why not?

By the way, are you sure about the date? The finalists weren't supposed to be chosen in April yet, the deadline wasn't until July.
