I hope Olga Lounová surprises me with a good song. I recognize she is a good singer but I am not a fan of her music in general...

@Ritararita Ben is not on the panel in the new Idol season (Palo, Monika, Leoš, Marián Čekovský and Patricie Pagáčová are)
Ben trying out for Eurovision would be huge popularity boost for ESCZ. Boring for results, as he would be the clear televote winner, given his huge fanbase. Not sure how I'd feel about him being in the selection, I like his music in general, but he is not the greatest live singer. He manages to sing well if singing slower songs, but I think he would be in with something more uptempo-ish so that he could make a big show out of his performance.

Yeah, Ben writes on his instagram that he has a mega news to share tomorrow, so I think that's it

I wouldn't be surprised if he's in with a duet with Annet X. They did several songs together before, Osama Verse-Atile is a main producer for both of them, Annet was a judge for CZ last ESC and I know Czech ESC team likes her music too.

OMG yes please! After a little search, I discovered she asked fans for funds last year to make a video for a song called "Wait For Life", whose songwriters are the same as "True Colors". Also, in the description she said it was "a prelude to my forthcoming album".

She reached more than her goal sum-wise, but no sign of the video since then... Could it be that they were waiting for the next NF to release it? It would make sense if she has a new album on the way.


I don't even know if she officially premiered the song, because it's not available anywhere. :unsure: However, she sang it three weeks ago in the video below, apparently this is the only performance from her uploaded on Youtube since her participation in ESCZ... The timing is intriguing.


My baby is so good and pretty... :love: I hope she's in.

Yes yes, I had spammed the 2019 Czech with exactly that campaign... I started to freak out a little as there was still 10% missing with a couple hours left, but then some big bucks came at the last moment - perhaps it's some usual practice, I don't know much about fundraising :D anyway I was happy it went through as I got to receive Barbora's signed album as a result :)
She hasn't premiered the song yet, as it's out on 23rd January. So that looks quite promising ESC-wise. But I'd rather not get overly hopeful, as a precaution... We shall see in 13 hours anyway :)
