Lake Malawi's result is also mentionned in the pdf, maybe it was updated after Tel Aviv.

I scan their website every year before the NF / announcement. In previous years I could find out that Gabriela will reprensent us days before announcement, lyrics of Hope Never Dies before the song and its name was released etc.
In those two years they had the info about the entries/contestants on their website before the announcement, it was just hidden. But if you knew the URL you could access it. So I just crawled their ESC subsite by changing the numerical ID of the page in the url. Ever since ESCZ was introduced I couldn't find anything there, I think they focus more on social media / youtube than their website now.

Yup, nothing new in there.

Though he mentions one thing in the interview which I liked - that there are some foreign songwriters/producers who specifically write songs tailored for ESC and then send them out to many countries, trying out their luck. He said they try to avoid songs like that, also because most of the songs sound similar and are very formulaic.They prefer authentic songs more linked to the singers and their personality.

Katie Kei replied to a comment underneath her video on youtube that she's not in the national shortlist for Eurovision 2020, but she "might try again". So that's one suspect less!

However, Olga Lounova's last 2 instagram posts mention that "something is getting prepared" and "more information about a new project on Monday".... that seems super-promising!

If this right then its clearly she will compete than she will be one of my favourites

It really looks like Olga Lounová is in. Since we already know that she tried to submit something, Olga surely knows that Monday 13th is THE date. Would she release her new Eurovision-unrelated song on that date? I don't think so. I like her as person, but her music portfolio is such a mixed bag that I don't know what to expect from her. Her most memorable song (IMHO) is the one bellow (Maruv and Hatari fans would probably love the video), but from the picture she posted on IG I would guess she's competing with some conventional ballad with empowerement message or something like that.

I have a suspicion that Ben Cristovao could be in as well. When @nofuxCZ once mentioned him, I thought it's impossible since Ben sits in Superstar (CZ/SK Idol) jury and new edition is in preparations, so he will be busy. Then I heard in some radio that he is going to be replaced by Monika Bagárová in the newest edition. Also, Kryštof Šámal (Czech Eurovision Head of Press) liked some of Ben's recent IG posts. Well, we will see.

I think Karelll will be on the list. He recorded a music video in late December and will release a song on January 20.

1 - There will be 4 women in the NF. (Of 11 people altogether, if I remember correctly).
2 - None of the women is in the same act with another woman. (So Vesna is clearly out).
3 - Only 2 of the 7 hopeful acts were finalists in previous years.

The last clue scares me a little bit. The only possibility of having both Pam Rabbit and Barbora Mochowa back is if Jakub Ondra was the one who dropped out. It already happened in 2018, so it's possible. I hope.

There's Barbora Mochowa as well, her new single is out on 23rd January, during a concert in Prague. Originally it had been planned for last autumn, so that could point in her direction. My gut feeling is she is still not in, but that's mostly me wishing to get positively surprised

Easy To Belive was bit too calculated attempt to create something as poppy as motherpopping poppible. Pretty much like Space Sushi. It surely wasn't completely unsuccessful attempt, but I fear it didn't show Pam from the right angle, so to say. Her potential is much bigger than ETB allowed her to show. Actually, despite being sick and tired of "oh-so-emotional" Eurovision ballads, I wouldn't mind if Pam Rabbit surprised everyone with something slower and emotional. She's bloody good at it, in my opnion.

"Easy To Belive" was calculated to perfection for me. But i enjoy her Kotryna-type sass and attitude. I'd be happy with something like "Soulless".
