Your memory is correct. He said he will most probably sing the last verse an octave higher and they speculated together with Kryštof about maybe doing a combination of the studio and the unplugged version.
But this time 100% in tune with the instrument please! Otherwise, I am on board, that could work really well.Starting out more calmly, heartfelt - singing to his mom that he will be ok and then bringin out the beat and dancing.
i kinda do

but if you're white and european
Well, guys what do you think?Let's be honest, trying to make Czech televoters vote for "Dark water" was like giving pearls to pigs.
don't apply it to you then kai. you know how racist the eurovision fandom can be and I'm sure racism is one of the reasons this song is being so disliked right now.I'd open up for a little green martian from planet Uranus if he came packing the goods. Unfortunately I'm just really not into Benny's song. I hope though the Czech people made the right choice here. Czechia's success story at Eurovision these past few years has been the most wonderful thing to watch, and somehow I don't feel disappointed even though the one song I know I'm most likely never going to be able to enjoy from their selection is now heading to Rotterdam.
te amo e tu sabe dissoYASSSSSSS i mean any non-karelll result was valid but YASSSSSS benny was my second fave kemama is an incredibly fun song with a catchy chorus and a unique take on a familiar sound. 10 points.
to pragmatically talk about eurovision prospects, i do think benny is a bigger gamble than an elis or a barbora, mostly because of the racism (yes i said it? just look at how people are reacting to the result lol), but if that can be overcome, it could be a huge result for them. there is no (other...) reason for a televote or a jury to not get behind kemama. i hope he does really well, left side of the board in the final at least.

this doesn't mean disliking kemama automatically turns you into someone racist and i know you enough to say it's not your case here but it doesnt apply to everyone

I'm glad you brought this up @anaraqueen. I'm not a fan of the song but I find it really sweet he's singing to his mother (as someone who is very close with their mother and has spoken to the other parent in almost a decade.) The song just doesn't vibe with me at the moment but all for diversity.
Honestly, I am 90% sure my village based grandfather (the one who got me so drunk I almost missed voting in Ema Freš, for those who remember ) has never seen a black person in person in his entire live. As much as I love him, he is super racist, "just because he sees stuff on TV". And a big part of our country with him. So from this point of view, Benny representing us is another great victory and a sign of things changing for the better here.I'm glad you brought this up @anaraqueen.
