Oookay. Re-listened to this performance again today and really start to love it. First I gave it 2 points, then upgraded it to 5, now to 8.

Love the live performance. There's so much more energy, Albert's quirky personality shines through and I really like how the changes to the song turned out - Albert now sings the second spoken part and in the end he switches it up to make it more exciting. I think the outfits and colours of the stage also suit the song well, they should stick with it.

BTW, Friend of a Friend is going to have a new music video. It will be directed by singer Jordan Haj and his cousin Givinar Kříž. They usually film clips for their own projects (Peter Pan Complex and Kapitán Demo) and for Jordan's girlfriend Emma Smetana. Based on their previous work that I know, I am expecting some hipsterish/retro stylization.

They used the revamped version for their performance at Vidbir - the key there is much lower, so Albert can sing the high notes comfortably. I am not surprised they were good live, Albert has more than a decade of experience performing, including big TV shows.
I hope they can surprise people in front of TV - there aren't that many fun, lightweight songs and the chorus gets stuck in your head even if you don't want to. Looks like they will use the pastel colored outfits (they used them for the new music video) so that could be another thing which would make them more memorable.¨
