great voice but the song is not very innovative, just a typical esc song. will be difficult to reach the final since semi 1 is very strong.

Semi 2 is much stronger. I can't see any competitors for this entry in Semi-1 except Russia and Cyprus. So I think it will qualify in TOP-3 easily

I don't understand people saying semi 1 is strong. Is it stronger than semi 2? Yes. However, it is not as strong as semi 2 last year. Most of the songs are rather weak and/or bland. We have 18 countries. 8 countries will fail to qualify. Do you really think that :me:, :mt:, :at:, :ee:, :sm:, :nl:, :md:, :hu:, :fi: and :is: have higher chances of qualifying than this? The only certain qualifiers are :ru:, :hr:, :gr: (probably, although their song is IMO bad). :az:, :am: and :cy:. This leaves us 4 more countries that can qualify. I strongly believe Czech Republic will make it this year. xyaaay

Iceland are one of the pre-favourites and is nearly universally liked, not to mention commercial. No chance in hell it's coming below Czech Republic or outside the top 10 entirely

If you think Iceland has less chance of qualifying than Greece, I don't know what to say to you.

Your tastes are yours, but I wouldn't say that :is: is safe too early...

The song is just OK, it's just the performance that stands out IMO. However, last year :mt: had much better song and amazing performance but still failed to qualify.

Greece has much bigger chances of qualifying just because it's Greece. The song is awful but because it's Greece it will qualify regardless of the song.

Just as reminder, Greece has never failed to qualify to the final. Iceland has good record as well, but it's still worse than Greece.

:ee: :is: :hu: are all much more secure than this and you're forgetting :ba:. Semi 1 is going to be tough for the Czechs

Malta would have qualified under the new system. The juries always give Malta a lot of points so we can never count them out. Plus, their new song could be much better.

:cz: is by far better than those craps from :am: and :ee:

EDIT: What would the SF1 have necessarily to be tougher for :cz: than :ee: or :am:?

It's not about what's better. It's about what songs (and countries!) get the votes. That's not necessarily the same.

The ex-USSR all get extra votes from their neighbors and the diaspora.
