Ooh, now this is a pleasant surprise! I'd kind of forgotten Cyprus was going to even participate this year, and now I've woken up this morning to a catchy, powerful, well-produced song. It's pop-rock with a good hook, and it's probably the best attempt at rock we've seen from G:Son so far. Second place on my list for now, and a solid 10 for Cyprus!

I was expecting an ok song from Minus One, but I'm pleasantly surprised! At the first listen it sounded ok, A second listen it became better, and after the third listen I was sold. This is how you represent rock in Eurovision! This actually has the potential to doe well in the contest (ahum *:ge: has no chance* ahum). Anyway, well done :cy:, first time I really enjoy one of your entries!

i completely forgot about this and went straight back to bed after the uk songs were released, but this is genuinely one of the best songs we've heard so far. after they released the lyrics to the chorus a few days ago i was expecting it to be pretty awful, but what a surprise!

More pop with the slightest sprinkles of rock. I can actually hear Nek singing this in my head. It's comes together better than a lot of the other recent pop band entries we've had at the contest, that's not to say I like it though. I just don't appreciate music like this. It's ridiculously safe and watered down. It doesn't rock at all. It's more like a box of Rice Krispies. Snap, crackle and pop.

This is going to do well however. It's going to appeal to fans of pop (shock horror, as it is pop) and there's obviously a big market for bands like this. Will I be lamenting come May when this finishes above Georgia? Most probably, so i'll prepare myself for it now.

2 points.

Excuse me? Rice Krispies are God's gift to breakfast. How dare you compare them to this song?

Oh I do apologize. I didn't mean to make that look as though I was attacking Rice Krispies. I enjoy the iconic breakfast cereal as well. Rice Krispies know what they are and they roll with it. Much respect to Rice Krispies.

I quite like this entry. I wouldn't be surprised if this pulls a top 10 rank. It's such a nicely produced song, nothing about it feels "cheap."

Also, I didn't realize how similar Cyprus is to my side of Southern California (if the video was shot in Cyprus).

In the end it's just average. I have no idea why these pop-rock songs do so well with the public. Reminds me of Georgia last year. It'll probably score ok on the board (maybe 15th on the first half?).

Not normally a fan of Eurovision rock but this is good - one of the best entries from Cyprus I can remember. 7 points :)

It's a very nice catchy pop song, too bad it's trying to be rock while it's clearly not. 7 points for now.

In Eurovision terms it is Rock, and that's really all that matters here.

Doesn´t care if pop or rock - just a great song. So my first 12 points of the season go to Cyprus :-)

THE GOOD:

-Overall, this is a great song to rock out to.
-The vocals are great and the instrumentals are good.
-The song is quite memorable, too.

THE BAD:

-Really more of a preference than anything, but I wish it had been more of a rock song.

THE VERDICT:

Cyprus has impressed me for the second year in a row with their song. I do see this song in the Final, and for now, it is my dark horse for the win. 10 points

It looks like rock but it sounds like pop. It's slick, energetic, modern, well produced and incredibly catchy. I love it, and if they do a good job on stage in may it might bring home to Cyprus their best result ever.
I would pay special attention to their looks. I'm okay with them, but eurovison won't be >;)
