This year's ESC is just so bad that we have a winner like this.

Edit: nothing can be worse than the chicken entry

Gosh were people actually saying that about Tattoo? I didn't think there were any doubts about it winning

I was looking for support for my opinion that the Croatian song is bad. So I played it for my old mother - thinking that a song like that doesn't appeal at all to the elderly. But - unfortunately - she likes it! A devastating blow ...

People compare it to Cha Cha Cha but I think it might be better. The rhythm part is more interesting to me, I like the change up towards the end as well. And the melody in the chorus instead of being bubblegum has more of a rock-pop feeling. Cha Cha Cha aimed more at camp with the stage performance, this one (so far at least) looks less weird in the staging but still seems fun and relevant to the song.

This definitely gets my 12 points. It's not really like Cha Cha Cha at all, but more like the Nu Metal songs I listened to back at school. I'd maybe compare him to a one man version of The Offspring or Good Charlotte more.

Now go on and get that Rim Tim Tagi Win

he's not the best singer, but it doesn't matter at all when there's a crowd that goes crazy and sings along. The song truly came alive at the pre-party!

Official Upload from the pre-Party yesterday:

Vocals sound much, much better than at Dora. Still room for improvement, but a.) he still has time and b.) for this type of song it's enough for me alongside his energy and charisma.
If the staging gets a sinilar Upgrade in Malmö this is still my pick for the televote winner in a competitive year :)

I didn't think the staging was that bad at the national selection. Some slight adjustments such as some better camerawork but it was certainly more interesting than the music video (including the costumes).
