Tried to fix the broken pieces, now I'm leaving
But you made it loud and clear I’m not enough
Tried to fool me more than once to keep me dreaming
'Cause you knew the truth would tear us apart

If you pull me down then I'll come around
And rise up to come show you who I am
I feel fire inside, my heart’s desire
I'm breaking free from you

Tick-tock, watch the days go
I'm losing track of time
Lost in your playzone
Don't overcomplicate
Now we're in warzone
You're screaming, "Oh no, oh no, oh no"

Tick-tock, I'll take you dancing
In time wе might break
You think you're fancy
I play those gamеs my way and you’ll be beggin’
"Please baby, don't go, don’t go, don't go"

I hear those voices from far away
They help me to escape (Escape)
I found myself and I'm finally free from
Your bad love in every strength

Tick-tock, watch the days go
I'm losing track of time
Lost in your playzone
Don’t overcomplicate
Now we're in warzone
You're screaming, "Oh no, oh no, oh no"

Dancin', dancin'
Think you, think you fancy
Tick-tock
Don't go, don't go, don't go

I hear those voices from far away
They help me to escape (Escape)
I found myself and I'm finally free from
Your bad love in every strength

Tick-tock, vrijeme curi, gdje si više
Usne grizem, sama jedva dišem
Tick-tock vrijeme juri ne mogu više
Oh no, oh no

Tick-tock, I'll take you dancing
In time we might break
You think you're fancy
I play those games my way and you'll be beggin'
"Please baby, don't go, don't go, don't go"

Dancin', dancin'
Think you, think you fancy
Tick-tock
Don't go, don't go, don't go

Catchy song. It immediately makes you enter the rhythm and, without realizing it, stamp your foot on the ground then... the desire to dance rises! Then the song becomes a little repetitive... and you end up smiling but having lost the frenzy you felt at the beginning of the song. If I had to make a comparison, "Tick Tock" is similar to one of the many love stories of today: they start between passion and feeling and sink into monotony. My rating is 6.

Oop our first '[Insert runner-up] received messages that votes for them didn't count' scandel is here xheat

While I also hoped for Nina to win, Tick Tock isn't a bad song, but I had totally counted it out since it sounded like the next pop entry every NF has. Live performance was alright and definitely boosted her song, but all the runs after each high note...(calm down X-tina). It'd be good to keep some Croatian in the song to keep it exciting.

I think it's early to talk about NQs but it does sound like an NQ (or borderline at best, ps Zena will eat this up any day btw), but let us hear the rest of the semi first.

:7: from me, but I don't see this staying in my Top 10.

ok so im late to all of these but anyways

so..Dora was a rlly good NF! totally unexpected to everyone but it was a nice change.

about the songs i'll only comment on the Top2

Albina's song wasn't one of my favorites. cheap, generic, bland, indifferent and the list goes on.. not impressed by vocals either and staging was rlly meh

and now Nina.. i get that the staging was a total disaster but how can't HRT see that this just has the BIGGEST potential??? for real, this could qualify in a semi that's a true bloodbath but now croatia will be a semi-filler.. apart from staging everything else was perfect ab "Rijeka"

Now as for Nina's claims about Dora being rigged, i have to agree with her. Juries would normally vote for Rijeka like their life depended on it. And all these accusations about votes not being counted for her and Tick-Tock winning at the rehearsals.. something rlly stinks here!

Croatia made a mistake last night. And for me, it's thr biggest one so far through NF season..

I keep listening to "Ocean of Love" for some reason, and kind of hope ToMa comes back in future Croatian NFs.

The winning song here (Tick-Tock) is an improvement from last year. I think this is also the first upbeat track they have had since 2011, which was an entirely different era of Eurovision (pre-Euphoria)

In short: No masterpiece, but it's a step up for Croatia. Top 10 is possible, but it might as well be ignored for being so conventional in its genre.

I doubt that it was rigged. The general public here sort of dislikes Nina Kraljic, and she's alienated a lot of people with her claims in the past 24 hours. She's being so messy, and not the good kind. By the way, I tried voting for Albina a few times and the same thing happened to me. I think that's HRT's fault, not rigging. They're incompetent, sure. Cheaters? Based on one jaded artist who conveniently forgot that the television house sent her to Eurovision before, without holding a competition? I don't believe that. Nina's performance was good, but the snippet was so much better. She has an incredible voice and style, but she was doing something weird with her voice at parts and besides, what did the pole dancing have to do with the song and the message? The outfit I hated, but it's her style, and I did think the dancers were incredible, but nothing matched. At list Albina was somewhat of a complete package. ToMa and Bernarda were great too. Nina is currently fighting with people on social media and it was revealed she was the only person who refused to congratulate Albina after the win - even her own dancers went to say their congratulations to her. She's making herself seem like a sore loser again. So much talent, she needs to hire a PR team quick and not vent on social media, because everyone is making fun of her for the way she's acting on social media.

I admit; this could easily end up being my big guilty pleasure of the year.
A bit of 80s vibe, a shamelessly easy hook (tick-tock, tick-tock), a decent live vocal....and I cant help singing along.

Seems like Nina has behavioral issues just by reading your post.
She does not handle this professionally as anyone with a career like Nina's are expected to do. I think Nina needs more than just help from a PR team to get on the right track...

Croatia is sending more than just a male ballad, eh?

I like this song in general. I liked Nina's as well but I didn't see it as something that would generally do it for me on further listens if I had to care to stick around with this a little longer. Whereas all the other bops served. ToMa, Beta, Mia, Bernarda... *chef's kiss*

Don't think I regret watching this as my first Dora, eventhough I felt like the atmosphere felt a little empty disregarding the audience moved to Zoom, it's just that I'm not very used to NFs having no background music whatsoever when the hosts are talking (except for FiK/Sanremo ) Also the scoreboard could've been a little more sorted better off during jury votes. But at least this made for a decently enjoyable show, there was one peebreak I did and that was during the interval act (nothing against you Vesna you did amazing sweetie ♥), and yeah

also if she keeps that one chorus in Croatian this'll be the 3rd Croatian entry in a row that won with some Croatian sung on it during the NF! Goooo consistency!

Nina is currently digging her grave...will it be possible for her to have a career after everything she said?

She said the contest was rigged because the running order was created by HRT and they put her 1st. She does know that running order on ESC isn't random either, right? It's also interesting that her claim isn't that much about it being rigged for Albina, but rigged against her. She made several accusations about HRT sabotaging her personally, although we all know that a few other artists were only a few points away from that win after the jury votes. So how come HRT only sabotaged Nina, and not others? Imo, she is just showing how full of herself she is.

Furthermore, she said for herself that she is unique and special and that she is representing Croatian culture and history, unlike others. I mean!?!? Someone tell her Eurovision is not a European version of Lijepom našom. It's NOT an ethno music contest. And again...so full of herself.

She also said that "media judged her for singing in English and in the meantime, we modernised ourselves". In the response to a commenter who said "Nina, that's all ok but you weren't the best last night and that's it", Nina replied, among other stuff: "I agree. Toma, Mia and Bernarda were better than me." She added that "everyone criticizes her, who got Croatia into the final after 7 years, while Franka who didn't even qualify is considered a success story."

In her insta story, she shared posts by people saying they couldn't vote for her and said "I know, I know everything but don't worry, no one can beat Nina if you get what I mean". No we don't get it, what kind of a threat is that!? She also said "it's easier to win Eurovision than to win Dora". People of course mocked her because she already was in Eurovision and we all know she didn't win it.

In the end, I have to say that I called Albina's number to vote for her about 6-7 times and the line wasn't working. So Nina's behaviour like she's the only one damaged is really just a sad picture of how full of herself she is and how she keeps making herself a victim of the HRT and media and God knows who more, ever since 2016.

When people dare to criticize her staging or anything she has said in her posts (polite, constructive criticism, they aren't really insulting her) she just responds with "if you don't like me, stop following me, go away from my page".

She's acting very ugly and I hope she fulfils her promise and never applies to Dora again. I am deeply, deeply disappointed in her. Even if the contest truly was rigged, this is just not the way to deal with the situation.
