They're screwing us all. I've sended them an e-mail from my work adress because the last time, they've ignored it. It's just too shameful they rather say something to ESCtoday, who had "exclusives" many times, but they don't trust a Croatian ESC site. Thank God the elections are scheduled for 8th November.

Even non-Croatian fans are pissed off by HRT!
It will really be a challenge to find another broadcaster who can achieve that.
I don´t know if I should ROFL or cry. Maybe both.

On the brighter note, I think that PamSwynford deserves some medal of recognition for the effort she had put in contacting HRT and asking about ESC. x12s
Way to go on being consistent. Too bad those pricks on HRT woudn´t return the favor.

I hate when people say "I don't like this country entries so I don't care if they don't participate".
First, if you think that don't say it because it is offensive to the fans who are from that country. Second of all, you should want as most countries as possible participating, and if you think that they don't send good entries you should just hope they participate and change that trend instead of going "Bah, I don't care if they don't participate".

Gurl, what is offensive actually? Am I blaming croatian people, belittling fans of croatian entries, making a country look useless? I never stop myself from making the point of liking/disliking a country's entries. Because the taste of music is subjective consept and no one can have a word on what I say until I actually insult.
I do not care if Croatia does not re turn.

I usually prefer to stay out of conversations like these, but you are absolutely right! It really is sending a negative vibe.
And this situation applies to every country I hear bad comments about, not just mine.
Whenever I read comments, such as: " I never liked Bosnia, they bring a lot of neighbour voting", or " Never cared about Slovakia", its just giving of a cold reception from the esc community, and makes an esc fan from that specific country ask questions such as: " Should we really come back given how many people openly say that they don´t like us"?
I have also already stated a similar thing in the Portugal thread. I am not a fan of Portuguese songs, but I am always opened up for a new attempt, because the next potential song can blow me away. Same goes for every country.

You can liek or dislike a country's entries all you want. But just because you haven't liked the recent entries from that country you should, in my opinion, as a ESC fan, want that country to participate. If you haven't like their entries it doesn't mean that isn't gonna change next year.
And if I ever said I didn't want Tukrey to participate or return it was because of the reasons TRT gave for withdrawal. I liked most of the Turkish entries in the past and as I said I want as many country's taking part as possible, including Turkey, but hopefully if Turkey does comeback TRT will change that atittude.
