I'm trying to imagine of a worse handling of this song that Croatia could've done, and I'm coming up blank. This will be up there with Horehronie and Wild Soul.

If I understood correctly what they said on the press conference and if the rumours are correct, the dress below the costume should be white and should reflect light. It weighs 18kg without the costume. I don't think Nina would approve of something pointless (like the dress change), so I'm expecting something impressive.

Nina has the kind of voice that really catches me and makes me want to listen to her singing. The start of Lighthouse is very promising! I still dont completely fall for the chorus - but all in all I think this is a really good entry. I would like the croatian team to focus on Nina as a singer. Let her voice speak for itself! I want a nice reassuring backdrop that suits the song and that doesnt take away the focus - which again should be on Nina and her beautiful voice.

1. A generally liked song is ruined by staging and performance ( 2015 )
2. The dress is an epic part of the performance like in 2012 and 2013

The dress must go away. Seriously, they just needed to put her in a tasteful dress and a backdrop with nice Croatian nature like in the first preview clip and it's a direct top 5 in the final, but no, Croatia decided to "experiment". And this is not hate, I will be the happiest person even if Croatia wins the whole contest.

So far nothing is looking good for Nina, but it's hers and her team's fault really. They have been warned time and time again about the importance of a tasteful attire so that their song may begin to be taken seriously.

And they have a vast influence on the outcome?! Stop trying to pity her already people, it's called first rehearsal for a reason. I know they must've paid this guy loads of money for that kimono but they have to keep their heads cool and consider the feedback recieved. Fingers croased for a successful 2nd rehearsal.

Sigh, I really like this song but I fear the staging is going to tank it. Sometimes, less is more.

The first rehersal doesn´t necessarily have to guarantee any kind of flop.

I´m fairly confident that Nina and her team can pull it off during the night of semi final and that camera work can cover many mistakes.
And I´m fairly sure that we can make it to the final! After qualifying to the finals, everything else is a bonus IMO.

Don´t give in Nina. You have our support no matter what!

Gosh, so many hateful comments. Non-mainstream people are never understood among the crowds. But did you really expect Nina to wear a nice, shiny, regular, blue dress? Have you ever thought that not everyone like it mainstream and regular?

However, everyone should calm down. She confirmed in the interview for Wiwibloggs that the dress after 1st chorus will be white and will reflect light.

I think that the performance definitely didn't ruin any chances for to reach the final, maybe even the opposite (we're still to see the biggest part of the performance). If it flops in the semifinal, I say it would flop no matter what.
