Also I suggest it being somewhat shorter... 3 weeks is enough imo and it would differ it from FSC... 1 week is enough to listen to the songs anyway

but 3 weeks would make it too similar to NSC

I like the 4 week monthly format.

3 week: show

The Semi discussions have been brought up multiple times but in a nutshell. This particular contest was created to give members the opportunity to take part in a contest that is slow pace so it won't take too much time out of there busy lives. It's the core value of this contest and the last thing we want to do is change that. The purpose is to provide everyone with one song selection, one vote & one show. If we would now add a Semi a lot of people, including myself, would have to withdraw as we would stray away of the puprose of the contest.

While this particular contest won't have any Semis I always said that if there is a need to create a new separate contest that would be faster or additional features such as semis, quarter finals or qualification rounds, then Ill be more than happy to create a separate contest. The options are unlimited and I'll do whatever people want to see added to the forum.

But this particular contest has some basic rules and core ideas which we are trying to respect.

TBH, the best solution would be to create a new game all together where both the WL concerns in NSC and the ROW concern in FSC can be fully satisfied to your liking.

Matt has already said that he is in support of that, in another thread. I am in support of that too, if you are willing to put the effort in hosting a different song contest, with principles that satisfy your needs as members, then I'm in full support of that.

This competition is not relevant to NSC. This is a separate competition without limitation the number of participants, as well as the freedom to some rules.
I will not even be written in the WL, because I do not want more than a year to wait to participate

Also are we doing the standard ESC voting system or implementing some changes? If we are having only finals we might discuss this but maybe it's best to leave it as it is...

4 weeks is too long, many people would get bored by waiting this much, and this contest was supposed to not be about waiting, remember?

We all love the ESC, including the voting system. So I'll be against any other imo
(by the way in FSC in our jury, we tried to do a different type of voting system, but returned to the standard)

Country, and you choose which country you represent, so it doesn't have to be your own.
