Oh, this was an answer for your last sentence. I'd really prefer Azerbaijan to become a Big5 country and Germany to go through the Semifinals (though this will never happen).

I would love that as well as long as Azerbaijan pays the share of Germany. The thing is that the EBU wouldn't let that happen. If Germany withdraws the UK and France would probably do so as well due to their bad results.

Why is it different? Maybe people love and they vote for the country and not the song. As I said expect a great voting pattern in the next years: <=> <=> <=> :twisted:

Azerbaijani are interested in Eurovision enough to spend some money in order to promote their song and your own country isn't as involved in ESC... You jelly?

I'm not jealous in the slightest bit because personally i'd be even more embarrassed with my own country if we did it how Azerbaijan does it. So no, not particularly "jelly".

I was actually thinking more of the smaller countries and micro states anyway that can't afford to spam their artists faces everywhere I go over the internet. It's an unfair advantage. I wasn't as annoyed this year with it though as I was back when they sent that woman with "Drip Drop" or whatever it was. I literally couldn't escape that woman's face.

Like i said before, anyone who has video-camera can make such video like was posted before about Lithuania. And Lithuania for the first time gave 12 to Azerbaijan, previous 12 were always for Georgia.

Well spending money on youtube viewer boosting bots isn't right (i'm not saying thats what has happened).

It's just all this splashing cash about doesn't seem very fair especially when all this cash splashing has lead to such high results and through showing no culture either. Sabina last year was a welcome breath of fresh air and (even though yet again, the song was bought from Sweden) I could feel a bit of Azerbaijani heart in the entry.

What do you mean add is not right? But anyway i am very very very happy that we didn't win.

Hmm ... i'd hate to see Germany leave ESC, but it's just very hard to see any financial effects. How much do you think you paid for ESC in Malmö?

Unfair advantage is also BIG 5, ig you wanna go that deep.

No, it's not like that - but over-advertising is. I had Safura plastered all over my laptop back then, each time I browse on the internet, ads were plastered everywhere!!

I can't tell you, but I guess Germanys paying the most of all - same like in the European Union, I suppose.

@Farahim: I'd personally say being a member of the Big5 is more a disadvantage than an advantage....

Ours (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, i have all channels from there) too. So wasn't surprise at all about high points to from these countries.

I wasn't talking about adds in what I wrote to you. I'm talking about the possibility of youtube viewer boosting bots being used. A practice were people pay for views on videos. It's something I have no solid proof of but I was just pointing out how it's strange the amount of views this ESCUNITED video had.

To be honest I actually wanted you to win in the final moments because I was so angry at the favouritism svt showed to Denmark this year
