^well of course, diversity can be explained in many ways and I can see your point in having different languages for all the songs.
But diversity can also be the way of showing message of the songs to other countries in the world basically, and a way to do is to use english, a language most people in Europe understand. A song in a native language can have a nice melody and a nice language, but many people miss the message of the song, if it isn't shown in some way.

In this case with this really nice Bulgarian entry, is that I see she has a message to me as a viewer, but I don't understand what it is she wants to say to me. I think many bulgarians and possibly the neighbouring countries may understand it more than me, but that doesn't help the songs chances of getting points from us in the nordic countries.
I want english to make more people understand what it is she wants to say and make us to feel.

But as I told before, some songs in a native languages doesn't have to change the language, a big example for that is "Molitva" that just blew everyones mind with massive singer and a preformance that made it possible for people to understand, even if it was in a language that noone except ex-yuguslavian countries would understand. And especially after hearing the english version of the song, it was 100% sure that Marija Serefovic choosed the right language in that case.

For me music is a universal language in itself, much more powerful than any spoken language.

Also specific linguistic characteristics helps forming the music (melody, structure etc), it's not just that it's interesting to hear another language.

As this is a song contest and not a poetry contest, also it's a celebration of all Europe, I think it's important to let the music speak for itself. This is my firm opinion. People don't have to agree with me offcourse.

Also Eurovision is not really known for its "brilliant lyrics" anyhow and most songs are about love in some way or another, I really don't see this "message diversity". I want music diversity, European diversity, not English lyrics diversity.. which I won't get anyhow so.

Also, I can't really imagine this one in English. It kinda doesn't sound right. Yeah, I'm very happy they chose her as she's an amazing singer and that could only help, especially with juries. :D Another reason - she was totally robbed in 2009 when the winner was fixed or there were people hired to vote for from mulitiple numbers. That's what I really liked about it - the new voting system. From a phone - you could only vote once for each song and that made it fairer, plus with jury votes, though the public seemed to have a better taste, it's fairer.

Milena's was the only decent song in the entire competition and hardly anyone could hold a tune. The jury members that voted her down should be shot, especially considering the rubbish they voted ahead of her.

The song style is in what we mostly listen in English that's maybe some of us think that English suits more in this song ( I personally think it too ) but also Bulgarian is not bad. Ans yes its eurovision so maybe its better to stay as it is in Bulgarian. At the end there were songs in English at the NF but they choose this one in bulgarian so maybe its better to stay as it is and I like it. Good luck Bulgaria hope you will qualify with this song

This one was hilarious:

I agree with some previous comments; looks like as if Shrek and Mr. Lordi got a love-baby

And those sumo fighters in the back?

And the lyrics?? "Fire in my hair"?

And BNT means this is "more quality" than chalga???? lol they are a joke really!

I hope Planeta will take over Bulgarian Eurovision selection and we'll see Bulgaria in top.10 every year!!

It's a good song, much better than 2009 and 2010, but I still feel like something is missing. For now

7 points

I think you could qualify this year :)

I must say I think electric guitar in this song is very good. But everything else is disaster.
What I don't understand is how this song came 2nd and why audience liked it. Thanks God that Polly won.
And Yeah...any chalga would have been better then Milena, don't know why some ppl find chalga embarrassing, and Milena not.
Anyhow, best song won, so I'm happy with Bulgaria's choice. I think it should stay in Bulgarian (cause that's what ppl voted), but (good!) English lyrics would be awesome too (it wouldn't ruin the song).

I like it! But, I think it would do better in English. I could imagine the song already and I think it would sound awesome! At the moment in Bulgarian I would give it 7/8 points. :)
