I read that the BG version was just for the NF. English for esc I guess.

This is what they ALWAYS say!

If she wanted English, then why not enter the song in English from the start? It wasn't as English was not allowed or anything like that...

I think it's cheap and fake to do it this way. In a selection where all languages were allowed, people should get what they voted for! There's no excuse.

Directly it became very uninteresting.

It is decent. I do like it, for a change. :) Definitely among the better songs selected so far. Good luck Bulgaria. I am not sure how well will this language change turn into.

OMG, THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST NF EVEEEEEEEEEEEEER! I mean, most of the songs were really boring or bad performances but it was a rather great production and also Hotel FM were great! :D Now, THE CHOICE IS JUST SPECTACULAR! I'm so proud of what we're sending for the first time in at least 3 years (2009 & 2010 were utter rubbish). I voted for 3 of the entries - Poli's, MILENA's & Jakob's. They ended up beeing the actual top 3. I give this song 12 points and it's officially my new fave. I hope she keeps it in Bulgarian, of course, that's one of the reasons I love it. And I don't mind the haircut cause she used to be so feminine-looking and stuff - she doesn't look BUTCH AT ALL... And who doesn't like this can't enjoy themselves, cos I don't see how you could just feel indifferent to this. I'm pretty confident we'll make the final. We'll see afterwards. I hope they announce full results, too. ;)

The best bulgarian song ever!! Finally a high quality entry with a good singer from Bulgaria! :) I think though that it needs to be translated to english..I find it very confusing in Bulgarian and I think a good english lyrics could bring Bulgaria even top 10 in the final! GOOD CHOICE BULGARIA! :D

I think though that it needs to be translated to english..

Oh plz no...

I don't get this; "it's good but should be translated", then basically you not like it as it is then.

Bulgarian is a nice language btw.

Eurovision is dying really.

Netherlands will translate, Albania, Bulgaria etc.

Is it Eurovision or Anglovision? Anglophiles should start appreciating something more than what's safe for them imo

This girl is obviously inspired by Swedish Robyn appearance-wise.

^Well As I have discussed this before, I will remind you my statement in this matter.

I judge what language suitable after style in song. In this matter, I think that this song needs english lyrics, since having the bulgarian ones makes it somehow a little less catchy. It is not bad in Bulgarian, but I think it can be better in english.

Some other countries entries to this year though, works much better in their own languages, like for example Italy and Spain, which if their songs would be in english would be much more boring and doesn't have anything special + would be less catchy. I also think sorta that Bosnias entry, would work better in Bosnian than in English.

Some songs doesn't matter what language they use, an example for that is Poland this year, which is already good in Polish but would be equally good I think in English.

This has nothing about that Eurovision is dying, this is about making ESC more alive, more differency and making the quality much higher. ESC has never been better than now (even if it has started a little weak in the song choices so far, it is still many to go :p) and I think that ESC is here to stay, with the rules we have right now. :)

Well I see your point, I can't say I agree though.

There's one thing I certainly don't agree with in your reasoning; if there are less songs in native languages and more in English, how can you say it's more diverse then? I'd say it's less diversity then.

I still believe that it's because some tend to lean to what's safe to them. I think it's a little sad though because I always saw Eurovision as an "eye opener" where we could somehow get other languages and songs in different style unlike the typical Anglo radio songs.

The more English we get, the more "Americanized" sound we get, the less diverse will this contest be and the "Euro" in the name will eventually make no sense.

Anyways, that's my opinion on the matter.

So i'd prefer they'll keep it i Bulgarian. Bulgarians chose a Bulgarian entry out of a bunch of entries that already included many English ones, so I believe they should get what they chose.
