at least he will be remembered for being the first male artist to use a wind machine. Which was quite ridiculous imo. But it went logically with the concept of the song: make it as cheesy as you can possibliy make it.....
plus: he was quite weak vocally tonight (compared to the capacities he already showed.) must have been the nervorsity....

This should have qualified as well because Axel was really moving and it was really magnifiscent. It's really bad that his dream stops now. I hope we gave many points to our neighbourg. Bruno almost insisted on us to vote for :be: :)

So Eurovision deserves only bad songs ?

Its not a type of songs that we usually listen at Eurovision. In Eurovision we have huge great songs ;)

Painfull to hear, painfull to watch. Axel was out of key countless times, and that creepy dancing lady was still there. Worst song tonight by far. Hoping for something better next year.

Hoping for something better next year.

I can already see it : the RTBF choosing the winner of The Voice, doing a random selection on a sunday morning and... still ending on a better place than the VRT.

Really, this never had a chance. A castrated obese middle-aged guy singing (very poorly) about his mother? ESC is not a retirment's home saturday night amateur karaoke party after all...

So unfair. It was such an emotional performance. Completely outstanding. The only terrible thing was the backdrop, terrible.... If there's one country robbed tonight that'S Belgium :(

You didn't like the backdrop? I thought it was very pretty but I guess I can see why it was harmful to the performance. It did look really old fashioned and a design you would probably only see in your grandma's house....the knitting in the postcard (I thought was really cute ) probably added to that impression too
