I love his voice but the lyrics are so corny they make me uncomfortable. I sure love my mother but this is just weird for me! I would never sing a song about my mother like this, I think it's corny and weird but whatever floats people's boats. He seems like a total sweetheart though, since I always tend to look at the positives more than the negatives about each song I think it'll qualify, but from there, I don't know. Highly doubt a top 5, but a top... 10? 12? I seriously don't know what to make for a prediction here.

Well if there is somebody who can make it very good then it can be OK but otherwise to make smth random just to make it, not necessary..

I honestly think this can compete for the victory in May. If this was a talent contest, I think the public would love the singer and be moved by him. And let's not forget that he won for more than half of the public votes in Belgium (and we know about the political divisions of Belgium and that he won with a huge gap against a teenage band - and fangirls almost always find a way to concentrate votes for their idols). Besides, I also think this song is very "Molitva": it's a song made to stand out because of the voice of the singer, the emotion of it and the simple but suitable stage performance that accompanies the song. Even if this is not my personal favourite, I don't think it would win undeservedly.

And he answers to the haters : his victory is the proof that, even if you don't have the look that the others want you to have, you can still succeed. More : to sing is first to have a voice and second, to touch the people.

I'm suddenly wondering what would have happened if Axel have sung "Crysalide", last year, for San Marino. The song would have taken an another meaning... And a qualification would maybe have been possible...
