I love this song. He has a strong voice, the text is amazing, but it's good for winning X-Factor or other show like this. I don't think it's good for Eurovision in my opinion about this contest. I don'tknow how to judge it.

His voice is a brilliant. Definitely the best vocal of this ESC. I usually don't like the songs about Mother but this one is nice. :8:

At the 2nd listen of the song it sounds much interesting. But I can't find that "Woooooow" element xthink. 8 points ;D

I can't believe why so many people like this song? The performance was actually quite creepy. The dancing lady in black, what was she symbolizing? To be honest, I can vividly imagine newspaper headliners in the future: "Former belgian ESC-contestant lived with dead mother for years". As a mother I find the lyrics more disturbing than touching, really. No doubt he can sing, but it doesn't help much when the song is so terrible.

For me this is mesmerising, the lyrics are haunting and beautiful, his pronunciation is not the best but I will overlook this because this is spectacular! The fact that he is so humble in his interviews makes me like him even more! The first semi final has ALL of my favourites in the contest :(

:12: points for my new favourite of the year!

I have indeed been unable to listen to the song, not the full song at least  gave it :3: points though. It's just so cliché that even the nice guy can't make up for it.
People are going nuts for it, I don't even understand why. On a personal note, I don't like the songs written for mothers (nor for fathers either) like they are beings of light or sth, I cringe at them.

May I suggest a partnership with german Heino in the future, they seem to have a lot in common:

His voice is really great, I love it, but the song is somehow empty. I also don't feel any emotion in the song, even though it is supposed to be dramatic and emotional. Out of all the selected songs, this is somewhere in the middle of my list. Not great, but not bad either.

4 points.

Looool

The grandfather of Unheiigs "Der Graf".

After last years ballad overflow, I think this year will qualify all ballads, because there are not many.
Actually I do not know right if I like this so.

I hope you're right if just for the sake of Valentina.

This year there has been an invasion of western folk/country songs. I imagine they will be cancelling each other out.

I wanted to, but after 10 seconds of listening to this i just have to run to the bathroom and puke my stomach and lungs out.
Sorry, i'm not gonna give it another shot, my dinner was too tasty, i'm not ready to say goodbye yet, maybe later when i eat something really nasty i might need help :D

I also think that, it's the end of preselection season, and ppl are a bit tired of ballads, and they rejected it immediately! xcry1

The fact someone posted this and that people liked it makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with most Eurovision fans. You've already decided he's psychotic or something? WTF?

I agree with her point of the song being amything but touching. She probably didn't mean that literally but she's free to get the creeps

The prejudices people have are ridiculous though, just because him and Carl aren't exactly underwear models people think they're creepy and weird? Come on guys...
