Natalia for 2012! She tried in the past but wasn't lucky. I trust the Flemish broadcaster more than the one of Wallonia.

Re: BELGIUM 2012

I'd love to see Natalia give the ESC a shot! She's got a great voice and I think she's a really good live performer (everything Kate Ryan is not, IMO).

Here's a selection of my favourite Natalia songs:

Kate can sing. I admit she sang terrible in 2006 but the greatest thing that fucked up her performance were her backing vocals (I thought ooh okay Swedish backings are awesome until you saw this dragons singing like hell) & her performance-change.

I agree, Kate Ryan doesn't seem to be a great live performer but maybe she has improved now? Her music is good though but i doubt she wants to live the Eurovision experience again lol.

Re: BELGIUM 2012

Maybe something more dance or electronic? Or maybe just a cute guy with a poppy teenager song? We all know where Sweden went with that this year.

I'd really like to see Lasgo in Baku but idk maybe it's not that great because they say she can't sing live.

Or Sylver but I haven't heard a lot of them the last time ; maybe they're having a break.

Milk Inc still is our best product from that genre but I don't think they're interested.

Re: BELGIUM 2012

Milk Inc is really the best of those three dancebroups. If they would dare to send Sylver... then I have to admit that I prefer a comeback of Witloof Bay!

Kate Ryan dissed Eurovision, why would she want to make a comeback? Cause her carreer is not doing well?

I think that would be great! I'm not a fan of hers but her music is good and it is popular in Spain, Poland, France and Netherlands. She only needs a very good song (like Je t'adore) and a spectacular perfomance.

I'm sure she has changed her mind about Eurovision now. Belgium got an amazing result in 2010 so everything is possible. And let's not forget "Je T'adore" was a big hit in 2006.

Let's just hope Kate Ryan won't be the 'Kate Ryan' of 2012 like Slovakia & Croatia in 2010 & Poland & Israel in 2011

And Kate Ryan was a part of that carreer :D.

I thought we were doing pretty well  (seriously). In the finals last years, almost missed the finals this year. Imo that is good :D.

It's good for Wallonia ; They can be proud they weren't the Red Lantern ; But for Flanders it'd be awful. Flanders also put so much more effort in eurovision. I mean ; The Wallonian participants had to gather the money thereselfs? That explains enough imo. Maybe It's time Wallonia give it 100% to Flanders like they did with the JESC. (=

Yes, they had to gather the money theirselves, but if they failed to qualify for Eurovision, they got the money back. And the people who paid for Witloof Bay get a part of the profit the group made. It's the same principle as MyMajorCompany. I don't have anything against it.

I don't think that is a good idea to give it 100% to Flanders, but maybe it's a good idea to organise a NF together. Wallonia has great music artist/groups (tbh I prefer the Walloon music scene) and Wallonia was (is) more sucessfull than Flanders in ESC history. And I think the VRT can't pay for it.

I agree with everything you said.
Common NF would be awesome. Our best NF ever (imo) has been organized by 3 broadcasters. Even small national minorities used to achieve 2nd and 3rd places, I think that both Flemmish and Wallonian performers have chances in such NF. + of course financial question.

I'd love it, i would truly love it to see RTBF and VRT organise a common national final. But in the current political climate, it's not going to happen.

Me too! I would love it. And maybe the BRF wants to participate too :D.

We had once such a final (VRT & RTBF), but it was for JESC.

Re: BELGIUM 2012

Don't have a wrong impression from what I mean, I don't hate the Wallonian entries ; 2003 still is the best Belgium entry from the last years. It's just ; from 2005 & on the Wallonian entries were trash & I know they had there money back but like in 2009 Patrick Ouchene had to pay the cost for it's own ; And yeah

And indeed the JESC-contest with the both broadcasters was awesome

I know your political situation but I prefer to stay optimistic.
