The 12 points from Belgium were incredibly close. It was a tight call between Austria, Israel, Italy and Sweden.

They went for cool when they shouldve gone camp like the music video, also there were way too many wide shots
If they went camp, it would have cancelled the jury votes which saved us at this running order from a bottom placement.

In the meantime "Who the Hell is Edgar" reached #5 in the spotify viral 50 global charts. "Cha Cha Cha" at #1 and "Tattoo" at #7.
Don't call universal you're already a global star

Käärijä wasn‘t too happy either.

This is the problem of fandom being hyped by betting odds and Social Media (reactions) and then being let down but on the other hand, you have the producer of the show hyping a completely different song to the amount it wins.
No surprise people get more and more upset each year.

According to the old system with combined votes, we would have finished on the left side of the scoreboard at 12th

Finland gets a higher score than 2006, only 31 points behind Loreen.

15th is an okay result, imo. Personally I thought that the staging wasn't right for the song. I really liked their performance at the Schönbrunn Palace. I was surprised about the low televote and the high jury vote result. I thought it would be the other way around.

Austria went from an amazing televote in the semifinal, better than Cesar in a bigger semi, almost as good as Conchita, to a televote worse than Nadine Beiler‘s. Only Makemakes and Nathan Trent did worse.

This year marks the biggest loss of televotes between semifinal and grand final for us.

I don't understand what happened. Why the low televotes in the final? The odds seemed to be in our favor.

They called it an "honor" to open the show, in fact it's a stab in the back. 2nd worst place in the whole running order.

My mom watched the song contest but she doesn’t know our song because she tuned in too late.

the running order costs 100 points or more. Just compare this to Loin d‘ici or Nobody but you vs. Toy.

They should find a way of implementing a short voting after each song. With an app-only voting this should be possible.
