I'm afraid I could get blocked before Christmas by Senor Nobueno. It's just my hunch. It seems he is reading all those uncomfy comments. ::lol

Nobueno said that someone is his hero (of course he was sarcastic, but still)...

Vincent during his 2009 appearance in "Dancing Stars" (a rather poor copy of "Dancing with the stars")
Unfortunately I didn't find any video footage of it. But he ended 6th (which does not say anything about the quality of his dancing. In Austria poor dancers oddly do quite well in these shows, so he might actually have been a lot better than 6th)

"Dancing Stars" have absolutely nothing to do with dance skills. Poor dancers are chosen to the next round to torture them (or to annoy the ORF ? - still haven't figured out that yet). I think, one of the reasons there are no National Finals for the ESC anymore.

This song really touched me today

Good Morning Austria

4:09 4:46 6:50 it's what he said that he doesn't want gay kids and the he wouldn't love them as much as straight kids. Deal with the critics now. It's only a start of the critics.

I already told him, you have plenty of time (half a year) to come up with the lame excuse and explain why you don't like gay kids. Still I wish him that he regrets that he ever applied for esc. Fudge...

Fudge.. He is totally uncharismatic and not worthy spending my time or energy on such a creature like him, but now I have to watch out his every move..

Good Morning Austria

Vincent said that his song "Only Thing" is a masterpiece. Thx to god we had Cesar Sampson' "Nobody But You" (also txt to UK for several reasons) in 2018 because "Only Thing" from Vincent Bueno was the runner up in the internal selection.

I repeat myself - Vincent should neither rap nor talk in a song.

In the video Lindon posted, Vincent mentions this song. He wanted to represent Austria with this after he participated in the NF where Zoe won. So it must have been between 2017 and 2019. He calls this song his "masterpiece". I'm not too fond of it and I don't think he would have reached the final with it.

He's charming, looks handsome and has a great voice but unfortunately, all songs I have heard from him have been underwhelming to utterly ridiculous. I hope that ORF know what they are doing and have asked for other producers and songwriters to compose "Alive".

Well, unlike Pænda, Vincent is open to constructive advice. We are talking here to an audience of one, and I suspect the audience is listening.

What makes you think Paenda was not open to constructive advice?

Eberhard Forcher:
PÆNDA is an artist who brings an artistic legend. She brings a very clear musical point of view, which often leads to conflicts in the cooperation, because she knows exactly what she wants. We, who have been working in the ESC context for some time, know a few things that may not be that favorable in the ESC context. And there were conflicts, so to speak, but conflicts are there to be solved. We deliberately start with a song where some people will shake their heads, especially if you know her previous songs ....

Q:
You know, I love the song. I also spoke in favor of it.
But it is not ... It is a courageous contribution.

EF:
It's true, we internally hoped that we could bring about an upgrade, so to speak, that only happened in homeopathic doses.
That was the wish of the artist. And we said from the beginning that we would not talk her out of it anymore.

And between the lines 3:30:

Honestly, there was nothing wrong with Paenda's vision. Everything on stage looked amazing. The song is just an everlasting piece of art. She just failed to deliver the vocals due to her nerves. I don't know how you want to use Paenda now to gain confidence for Vincent's different approach. It has nothing to do with each other.
