Not sure if Sweden hates us. They invited Austria to vote in Melodifestivalen this year.

Stunning! Marvin Dietmann, who does the staging for PÆNDA.

This was our first invite since 2015 to vote. Maybe it's a sign for peace with Björkman.

I am confident in Dietmann. He literally saved Nathan Trent's act and elevated Cesar.

I would stage Paenda very simply. Just a one take straight face shoot, no different camera angles. Just like in the video. Let raw emotion convey, Marvin!

thats funny. after listening to the song in the morning and thinking about the staging i thought she should sit on the stage (barefoot) close to the audience.

Exactly. It should be radically reduced. No artificial background effects, no moving headlights. Only she, very close to the audience and yes, no shoes. One must have the impression that the effect elements of the stage remain in awe. It would be risky like the song.
Ezio Oh, same thought.

I think that's what Eberhard Forcher said too. He called the staging "minimalistic". (btw. Conchita called hers also minimalistic and simple. proves that minimalistic can still be very powerful)

I just love the reaction of this french guy, and Eberhard Forcher has the same opinion as I, just look at the commentaries on YT.

This interview is english subtitled CC.

From the interview you can conclude what happened when they tried to convince her to an "ESC-upgrade". She is apparently the first artist to be granted total artistic freedom. All instruments on the track are played and recorded by herself, so no one other had any influence. Did this ever happen at the ESC before?

Well, if you released a song that's really personal to yourself and it gets shredded by the eurofans, you may not want to find out what happens to it in Tel Aviv anymore...I sure hope it's not the case though. Just can't see why just this song should disappear from spotify and a esc-stats-page...

Maybe the escstats-page is linked to spotify somehow...then it might just be a mistake...

PÆNDA seems to be a very strong woman who does not let herself bring down by a negative response of some. I rather think there are technical problems behind it.

And also from Apple Music. Strange. Last minute revamp to include some Fuego instruments and raggaeton beats?

„Dear Eurovision fans - sorry we had a little misunderstanding here in ORF. We presented the wrong version of Limits. The actual one (the Jungle-House-Remix) will be presented tonight at 23:45h. And the title is also different: it‘s actually called „Fuoco“ which means „Fire“. Last Detail: it will be sung by a different artist who we are still looking for“
