Austria’s dead last in the ESCSTATS-poll. :(
Along with most of the other new entries, including the rather hyped one from Azerbaijan.

"includes votes (received/updated): 22nd February - 9th March 2019"

Give it a few days.

Give it rather a few weeks. Odds and co. are changing so much like crazy. Even when I am not too pleased with Paenda's song, I can see it among top 10 in the end. Jury will like it, I think.

Eberhard Forcher is King Midas of selecting Eurovision acts. He thinks like a Eurovision juror, that is why Austria will once again get a great jury result.

He dismissed Paenda's intended song, because it was too cliché for him, listened to her album in the making and picked Limits. A song completely out of the box and listening habits to pop radio listeners. Eurofans hate it but it will pay off.

Eberhard Forcher also gets a bonus for the Grand Final, so he is not in to deliberately spoil his own money game.

wow i wonder why fans are not warming up to this entry with fans as humble and welcoming as the ones in this thread..................... the desire to revisit this entry to see if these definitely not at all arrogant and snotty people are onto something is ocerwhelming.................. is this how a born again christian feels............................

In the generic odds table, Austria was quite high for the first time, given the recent succees and constant underratings prior to success.

The actual reveal of the song did not really hurt. Still 33/1 to 66/1 which is quite decent and better than in years before.

Whatever happens but Paenda be should put after Russia in the running order. Viewers would be so thankful.

Austria: first half/ Russia: second half ……. difficult to make your wish come true :p

I think they will give us #2 in the running order again. Odds started to crash today. 100/1. Show producers might deny us a good draw.

I was fantasizing about the grand final.

They cannot do that again. Even César didn't get a good draw in last years final.
Paenda needs to be late in the running order of SF2.

I think the odds will not rise until we get to Tel Aviv.

Nathan Trent was allocated at #2 and #4

If they put us in the first quarter, we will crash out or get another lot in the first or third quarter of the final draw.

#5 for Cesar was a televote killer. In the semi, it was a tie with Israel in televotes, and televotes were even 1 point higher than juries'

Yes César got robbed of some televotes.

Zoe was lucky picking 2nd half twice. But also her semi nr was early in the running order of the 2nd half.
I read somewhere that this infamous swede (forgot his name ...) doesn't really like austria. But I hope that is just some rumor.

I hope the Austrian delegation dares to object for once, if we get another shitty draw.
