hands down ... I wasn't a big fan of Conchita (I learned to like her/him over the past days) .... but this was very very very awesome. Vocals were amazing - the stage was magical - the support in the arena breathtaking.
I have to admit that I even got nervous trough the announcement ... and yes, I jumped up when they said Austria.
You want to hear it ... alright ... I was wrong - Conchita will do very well on Saturday & she is not the person I thought she is. xshifty

I really don't get the whole great vocals thing

Conchita sounded small and whiny with very little real power behind the vocals....pretty much got swallowed up by the stage

If it wasn't for the beard gimmick and over hype nobody would have given this performance a second look

Yes, she is getting attention, but it is not up to her. This song sung by a woman would be a hit, I am pretty sure.

It's a hit anyway and deserves to do very well, but I think it will be boosted up the table because of the attention over her style.

Well, each to their own... I only hear a dated song which is trying to sound as Shirley Bassey or something but obviously fails at doing so.

I still think there's lots of people who wouldn't even give this a second thought if it weren't for the whole act behind it... I'm not saying you're one of those since I know this is the type of songs you'd support, but there's many that seems to be jumping on the hype bandwagon that would wetting themselves over anything Conchita would sing...
