Is this song still on charts?

I think song from Holland was the biggest success this year's competition. One month after Eurovision no one cares about "Rise like w phoenix" and according to peak positions and comparing last years only 2011 winner had worse results on music market.

Well, that's a quite inaccurate assessment since the song had many Top 10 placings, a lot of Number ones in iTunes (even in Russia) and a Nummer 1 on the Austrian charts. Common Linnets are still more successful, but talking bout bad charts performances, I have to tell you something about the 90's winners, except UK 1997 and the winners of 2000's except Lordi and Rybak. All winners were really horrific in the charts.

Lena and Loreen had a very good charting, but mostly Eurovision winners do really bad and Conchita had a comparatively quite a success.. Even Rybak was not that successful.

Eurovision 2011 had some hits too, but Ell / Niki were a flop.

I am just asking about today's charts, because on Wikipedia I can see only peak positions and Common Linnets has better numbers there.

I've just checked last 5 years and compared winners results, now music market is kinda different than in 1997.

And in Eastern Europe countries it's not that hard to be No. 1 on iTunes, it is enough to have less than 100 downloads per day, so I think even in Russia we have that number of Conchita Fans who voted and downloaded. :D

Emmelie de Forest had much less success than Conchita Wurst. Of course Loreen overshadows everyone, but I doubt something like Loreen is likely to happen soon again in Eurovision.

Well, the esctracker showed much more chart entries than wikipedia. Many countries are missing in this list.

In my opinion English Wikipedia is the best source when it comes to international official music charts, they really care about it, so I don't look at other unofficial or fan charts.

There are commercial Eurovision songs, wannabe commercial songs and non-commercial songs..... Conchita gave us a high-profile non-commercial song that lives for the stage, still the song became a decent hit and Conchita a superstar.

btw. where was the oh so popular My Slowianie in the charts? Answer: Nowhere, it was completely dead and one of the few songs that didn't enter the charts not even for the post-Eurovision week..

So put Conchita on top in every single chart and we will see how long it will work. :D

In wikipedia charts you have external sources for every position.

Omg, it looks like you are out of arguments, so you're using "My Słowianie" thing... and maybe I will surprise you, but I don't care about Cleo and Donatan results because I am not a fan of them and I don't like their behaviour after they "lost" on Eurovision, but maybe "My Słowianie" would be on charts if they ended up at #5 place in general and jury didn't place them on the very last position.

Speaking of esctracker I can see here only iTunes, press voting or YouTube Charts, so I don't know why this is more important than official charts from Wikipedia? And on YouTube "My Słowianie" has more views than other countries counted up toghether.

Seriously? Because it's still incomplete. Check other hits: Bad Romance - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ....there is so much missing

Are you comparing "Bad Romance" restults with "Rise like a phoenix" ones or what? What is incomplete? Bad Romance page or Conchita's Page?

Bad Romance topped more charts, because it was a huge hit. You can't see these music charts on "Rise like a Phoenix" page, because this song has never came out eg. on US,Billboard or Brazil or Mexico... lol.

THERE'S NO PROBLEM. :)

I have just asked if this song is still on charts or not, because I wanted to know.

PS: I prefer democracy.

In wikipedia charts you have external sources for every position.

But not every possible external source has been looked up.

And btw. when it comes to official charts, it depends on how they are assembled. Some have a radio mix and many charts require an application. So when you see a song charting on iTunes you often don't see it on official charts, because it wasn't registered for the official charts. But that doesn't mean it doesn't sell or doesnt get played on the radio.

For example in Germany, a major music market, many songs which sell great never enter the charts because they are not registered.

Even Moustache was charting, almost every other song was charting.

Speaking of esctracker I can see here only iTunes, press voting or YouTube Charts, so I don't know why this is more important than official charts from Wikipedia? And on YouTube "My Słowianie" has more views than other countries counted up toghether.

My Slowianie already had their views before Eurovision because of the Polish fans. So, don't say it has the most youtube views because of Eurovision, because its not true.

Still wikipedia doesn't list every chart success of this particular hit.

I don't care about results of My Słowianie even if I like this song, I agree they didn't enter any single chart outside Poland and I know why but I don't know why we are talking about it?

Conclusion from all your posts is:
Conchita Wurst is the queen of music, Europe and charts, because "My Słowianie" is a flop. xyes

When ideology is in, I am out.
Nighty-night. :)
