I was told at six years old
They'd avoid me if my heart was cold
Found it hard to talk and speak my mind
They'd never like the things that I would like

'Cause you're told to play, but you're not the same
As the other kids playing the same game
Tried to jump on in, but they push away
So far away

I'm not the same, no
I'm not the same, no

Years go by, I tried and tried
My father asked if today I smiled
I said, "Yes I did", but that's a lie
Oh, I always tell those lies

And you run and hide, hide the break inside
Do you realise that the light shines bright?
Through those, oh, who broke inside

I'm not the same, no
I'm not the same, no
I'm not the same, no
I'm not the same, no

'Cause you never want to be a kind of person
You can work it for those ones who cannot word it
Because you've been the kind of person who felt this pain
Yeah, I felt this pain

So you're gonna leave the pain and find another way to make yourself another game
Maybe one for all to play
'Cause it's not just me who's not the same
We are not the same

I'm not the same, no
We are not the same, no
We are not the same, no
We are not the same, no

Running order is out, and it looks surprisingly good for Voyager: they're performing second from last, sandwiched between two slower songs that don't have much hype (i.e. the same running order setup that both of our previous winners came from). I still think Sheldon will be the favourite, but this at least seems like a small step toward making things more competitive between the two of them.

Jury show has just concluded - not much info available online, Aussievision has been tweeting but it’s naturally all been extremely positive.

Odds-wise, Sheldon and Voyager still the clear top 2 - Jaguar on the rise and looking to overtake Charley in 3rd.

  • Darren Hayes – Singer
  • Alexandra Rotan – Singer in KEiiNO
  • Millie Petriella – APRA-AMCOS representative
  • Emily Griggs – SBS Head of Food and Entertainment
  • Paul Clarke – Creative Director and Producer
I guess it's a bit shocking to see Alex there, but how is Paul Clarke allowed to vote (since he's an SBS internal)?

I feel either Voyager and Isaiah-Evie are the ones they're pushing here. I can also see Sheldon doing well from that spot. Seann and Erica seems to be dead on arrival.

Putting Jude in the last place is a smart choice TBH. His song sounded like an ending credit of a movie, hence it's great for closing the show.

Apparently these are the votes of the jury show!

Jaguar Jonze - 'Little Fires' (52 votes)
Voyager - 'Dreamer' (49 votes)
Paulini - 'We Are One' (34 votes)
Sheldon Riley - 'Not the Same' (24 votes)
Jude York - 'I Won't Need to Dream' (15 votes)
Seann Miley Moore - 'My Body' (12 votes)
G-Nat!on - 'Bite Me' (11 votes)
Andrew Lambrou - 'Electrify' (8 votes)
Isaiah Firebrace & Evie Irie - 'When I'm With You' (7 votes)
Charley - 'I Suck at Being Lonely' (6 votes)
Erica Padilla - 'To The Bottom' (5 votes)

EDIT: Apparently I was wrong. Poll from the people in the audience!

That's just an exit poll from people in the audience. Not the jury votes.

Are you certain? Okay, then I probably misunderstood it on twitter. Thank you for correcting!
Certain that this is just the audience poll - source comes from Aussievision on Twitter.

Let me just say this (to avoid spoilers):

If you thought Kate Miller-Heidke's dress was extreme, just wait until you see Jaguar perform. xqueenbitch

Only like half of the performances are loading but so far G-Nation have no chance. Rough vocals, and bad choreo.
