it sounds like the lyrics were written by a 12 year old. 'why do dreams make people scream' seriously??

As if "nowadays I cannot find her but when I do we'll get a brand new start" is quite literary :)

I don't think the powers to be or establishment wanted a song like this to win anyway so this getting first half is a good excuse for them to not vote for it :(

I still hope for a top 10 cause a bomb like France 2011 would be too much (that still hurts )

Totally agree with you. I was on the verge of crying when :fr: didn't even make the Top 10 in 2011... My heart broke when I saw Amaury's face during the voting.

You could tell he was very nervous and his voice resented that.
I reckon it's very easy to feel overwhelmed by the stage and the huge audience, but he has to perform better in the Final.
Still one of my favorites.

As for the scenery, I'm not crazy about the the pyrotechnics. This song does not need that to work.

Well, as someone said before, opening the contest is such a big deal! Besides he must have felt all the pressure about being a favourite.
Can't wait for his performance in the final.

The performance really should've been much stronger, I have a feeling Armenia's losing its footing lately

I've always felt his vocals were shaky by watching the rehearsals, now I have confirmed it. I loved his innocent, lost child like expression, that I did not expect to see. It's still one of my favourites, but winning is not gonna happen.

I don't think he was trying to look that way himself, he was just terrified. It was a bit endearing - at least he's not a smug Eurovision-winning machine. I hope he'll be more confident on Saturday, now that he's already done it once.

I guess the chances of this song winning are gone, even if he performs it as well as he can, because it's so hard to make it look good on that expanse of a stage. That said, I still really enjoy the song and I'd be sad to see it completely flop.

A big orchestra on stage would be the only thing stopping this from going under...

I was so annoyed with both Armenia and Azerbaijan for not wanting to sit next to each other in the press conference. They actually had to rearrange the cards putting Azerbaijan at the end of the able. So if there are two countries that can't put politics aside, it's the two I just mentioned.

Sad. I thought Aram and Dilara would be the kind of people to ignore that..

Oh I forgot. Were there issues with the sound of Aram at the begining of the song ? In France it was very arsh. we thought they would stop the song or make him sing again at the end of the evening because we couldn't really listen to the intro. Then it went all right...
