I'm not sure anymore if our commentators called him a homophobe directly (I don't think that's the case) but they certainly told something about homophobic rumours or conflictions with Austria's contestant.

When they revealed the current rankings Armenia was at the bottom of the list. However, I don't think that will be the case in the finals though.

I think The Netherlands can give as even 12 points this year (Belgium and Turkey are not participating and we have strong entry).

I wish people would drop that subject. But how can they if commentators are still feeding them with the story? Amazing...

I'm not surprised though. Some things, you just don't joke about. Gay is one such thing

Well, to be fair, gay people joke about other people all the time. So a light hearted joke shouldn't be a problem (if that's the case). If he's serious though, it is a different story obviously.

Indeed. Commentators should focus on their job, which is introducing the artists and the songs and not trying to get a leaing role and have an influence in the votes.

Yup. I loved watching Big Brother once, but I grew tired of it long ago. I watch eurovision for the songs and am interested in what the artists make of them in their 3 minutes stage performance. I'm not interested in their private lives.
Plus, Aram made the unfortunate joke, apologised, hugged conchita and was photographed while doing it. The story should have stopped, no? It was never very interesting to begin with anyway xshrug

Focus on the song and the performance because that's the only thing that matters. And if you like it, vote for it! :D

Beforewards our comments usually were commentators telling about their journey to the host city and laughing at everyone... And telling that Eurovision is crap with crappy people and they were in crappy countries (it was in Eastern Europe at time...)
Well, it has changed as embassies began to make trials to France 3 , and now it's more respectful, but they just explain how the people is dressed or read a translation of the song in French... And they are paid for that ! xfacepalm

To Smudy:

You think he is going to sing better than Conchita?

Plus they need to improve the camera work.

I don't think he was terrible, but I did expect more from him. He is a really good singer but on Tuesday he appeared nervous especially in the beginning. Maybe it's because he had to go first.

Horrible draw for Armenia. This won't even get top 5 now.
