Well, he wasn't so good at the beginning, but nailed the highest parts. It was awesome then.
I DO see this song and performance winning (and he deserves). The problem is performing in the first half. That's soooo bad, but well, favourites have usually been drawn in the second half in the last year, so we don't really know if they are doomed in the first half. I'll support and vote, for sure.

I've said in my first comment that somehow I got a not-winner vibe :'D
I thought the performance was great, but he looked too tense. Still, it is the Final that counts.

Damn, he didn't sing very good today. What the heck happened? I've seen vocally very good performances from him before. He has to do much better on Friday and Saturday. If there isn't a huge improvement he hasn't a chance any more.

I don't think the powers to be or establishment wanted a song like this to win anyway so this getting first half is a good excuse for them to not vote for it

France 2011 didn't suit the contest and nor does this. It's a clumsy stapling together of completely different musical styles and it sounds like the lyrics were written by a 12 year old. 'why do dreams make people scream' seriously??

He wasn't good at the begining... like all the people who opened the first semi-final. It's hard to start Eurovision. Magdalena Tul completely crashed down in 2011. Natalia Kelly wasn't good last year though she was always brilliant...
And, yes, he did great job at the end of the song. That was really breath taking !
